You're right I was just in a mood. Went to a Bday party yesterday where food was ordered for 30 souls....

Only 14 showed. The guy is a bigger ass than me I guess?

Anyway, It would be nice to have an idea as to how many are planning on showing up.. I don't wanna eat the same leftovers for a week. ;)

I'll be there if its happening. Expect me around 11 AM and I'll be gone around 5PM. Depending on what else happens, I may swing back by on Sunday morning.

Changed my mind on the tires. Local shop gave me a good enough price on the tires, and can get it done this week. Saves me the gas money to trailer the bike out instead of ride it. And he said they'd throw on the brake pads while he was at it. Leaves the cruise control and heated grips (if those get here on time).

If anyone is coming over from the west side, let me know.

What time does this shindig get going on Saturday? And does it carry over into Sunday? I'm a tech day noob, so I have no clue. I have Friday off, and was contemplating making at least part of the ride then (since I don't have a current passport or enhanced DL, I can't take the shortcut through Canuckistan and must take the 7-hr route through PA/OH). I just don't want to show up too early Saturday morning...I might see something I can't un-see.... ;)

Just remember wnyfjr, going to Casa de Bust is like staying at Hotel California in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, Mexico: You can check-out any time you like, but you can never leave!"

"Last thing I remember, I was

Running for the door

I had to find the passage back

To the place I was before

"Relax, " said the night man,

"We are programmed to receive.

You can check-out any time you like,

But you can never leave!"

Plan on seeing something that you can't un-see. That's all part of the fun!

As Bust said, it is an all-weekend event. Most of the 'work' gets done on Saturday.

Sooze and I will head out Friday after work, so we'll get up there at oh-dark-thirty on Friday night. If ya wanna meet up in Toledo or at one of the southern-Michigan exits (exit 17 is an easy one - there's a Cabella's at that exit) and ride with us (although Sooze is gonna take her car since it's gonna be chilly and she gets cold easily), we can make that happen.

RaYzerman and yamafitter no longer work for a living, so they'll prolly get there much earlier than us and be well lubed by the time we get there.

Bust, on the other hand, is always well lubed.

That might work. I have to do a little 'flight planning' and see what time I'd have to leave to make that link-up work. I'll PM you. Thanks!

Hmm, can't seem to PM you BikerGeek...maybe we can do this the old-fashioned way, via email. mforster48 at gmail dot com

Pam and I are shooting for a mid afternoon arival.... of course that depends on the traffic at the border...and deciding what to buy at the duty free store.

I should be arriving just in time for cocktail hour on Friday. I'm shooting for a 17:00 - 18:00 arrival.

Departing the Great White North, making a coupla stops (including the Duty Free) and will arrive oh-dark-thirty as well. Got wiring stuff packed....
