I'll be leaving within the hour, planning on arriving around 6pm - ish (heavy on the -ish)

Looks like I'll be damp somewhere along the way.

Might hole up in a service area or two if it gets biblical.

Since we actually work for a living, Sooze and I will not get there 'til oh-dark-thirty.
I tried to send you a PM about this event, but, it says you can't receive any more PM's...
D'OH! I thought I had cleared out my inbox. I had not.

Try 'er again... If it still doesn't work, post in this thread and I'll send you my email address.

Since we actually work for a living, Sooze and I will not get there 'til oh-dark-thirty.
Since I am completely retired and totally worthless, I will be there bright and early!
Heaven help us.

We're gonna need more food.

Ride safe! Assuming you take 23 north outta Toledo, you want to get north of Ann Arbor as early as you can. That stretch gets really busy when Detroiters flee north for the weekend.

If Ann Arbor is too busy he can always jump off @ whitmore lake and take Plainfield/topping rd "M36" East to Stockbrige Rd. " M52" north. It will still be light and traffic is a whole lot lighter.

Oh that's just fecking great!!!

Where the hell am I going to get a damned jackass on such short notice?

:finger:

Okie dokie,

I was entertaining the idea of trying to make this event... last minute and all.. then a small amount of time passed between when I had the urge and a response to that urge and wamo... I started enjoying the weather here, knowing it was going to change, and started doing stuff around the house.

The bike needed an oil change after our excursion north earlier in the week. The lawn needed cutting, garage gutters needed cleaning out, garden soaker hoses needed to be retrieved.... and the oil change did need to happen.

The good news is all that was done, but the bike needs a bath.

Oh, put a couple coats of primer/paint on the frame of the small garage door. It looked horrible, but now... nice... amazing what a little paint will cover

So I hope ya'll have a great outing!!!

It's not too late, you know.

Don't worry aboot warshing your bike - mine hasn't been washed since before NERDS 2011.

Keep an eye out - I imagine that yamafitter and / or I will setup some streaming video. So you'll be able to laugh at my lack of mechanical aptitude from afar.

I have arrived at Casa de Bust and was immediately handed a Creemore Springs Premium Lager by Pam. Let the festivities begin.

By the way, how much will you guys pay me NOT to broadcast this live on UStream

Cool, camo painted Varadero. I rode Perry's (local dealer dude) that's kitted out to conquer Starbucks. Really nice bikes but way heavy. To bad Honda fecked themselves over when they brought it here.

Tilt one back for me with the rest of the hooligans. 3C and rain this afternoon :angry2: :angry2:

No UStream today. Every time I said I was going to start it up Bust would start taking his pants off.

We succeeded in re-building the front forks for my bike with new bushings & seals. WNYfjr changed out the fluids on his AE.

Ray & Andy re-wired Andy's bike so now the wires now have a beginning and an end.

Bust let the smoke out of the Pulse Width Modulator previously and in the process of re-wiring the Aux LED's he let the smoke out of one of the Aux Lights.

It wouldn't be an Owooso Tech Day without somebody busting somethin".
