Hi ken sure there is always room ( we will split into groups), We will be leaving from the Motel and I would guess KSU will be around 8.30-9am no early.

R

Why so late?
Now, Mark, you can suppose that there may be some riders who operate outside the pale of FJR orthodoxy and who also tend to rise early. Not outright rebellious, though somewhat resistant to following another's timetable, there is always a chance that one or two of these independent minded FJR owners MIGHT leave earlier. Maybe. Possibly. Perhaps. Probably.

;)

Parts are bumpy and goaty, parts are smooth, it's a 1 1/2 lanes wide in parts, usually messy some of the the corners in places and a smell the roses type of road.

I should be at the ABV Inn in time for the dinner excursion on Thursday.

Does this screw up the count for the cab?

Pretty well sums it up... it's not a "fast" road but has some beautiful countryside to see along the way.

I was kind of curious why we did not take that road up to Santa Clara...please take pictures...I wanna see it. :)

Does anyone know the condition of THIS ROAD?

R
Mostly this road is a 50 MPH (average speed) back road. It is kinda like Dave (Highlander) says, but the scenery is worth it and it can be an adventure if ridden in the AM before it gets HOT HOT HOT! Seen more rattlers and tarantulas on this road in the summer than most other parts. If you've never ridden over it, it is worth the adventure. Dcarver, Roy Epperson, and I rolled over it a year ago around this time.

What day of the week are you thinking there Richard?

Any room for a last minute party crasher? The stars just aligned for me, and I'm thinking of making reservations at the hotel.

Oh Man, now Papa Chuy really wishes he was going on this ride. Going on a motorcycle run with Neil is more exciting than a date with Courtney Love in a stolen car!!!
