" 7" diagonal!

If its got XM, Bluetooth, waterproof, and removeable I'm skipping the Zumo.

I suspect it also has a fishfinder attached though"

Nope, no fish finder and it does have XM but no Bluetooth, it is removeable. I am hoping to be at the woodside Alice resturant Yamaha meet. Maybe by then someone will figure what I am using for a GPS now. <_<

Most fishfinder GPS like the 276 and 376 does not have touch screen.

"based on a quick Google... I'm betting:

Atlantis X-7000"

Sorry, it is not, you have to remember that I stated it comes with the Garmin City Navigator software and user interface, this 1 GB Atlantis X-7000 is more of an entertainment center with GPS capabilities.

By the way, a DVD system will not live very long on a motorcycle.

My unit is a GPS unit with XM, rear view camera, Video capabilities.

And the cost is a little more then $699. :D

By the way, to be FAIR to ME! I only allocated a few units for this forum membership benefit and I will not sell my normal retail inventory if I run out of the forum inventory.

So like I said, if you want one, put your name on the waiting list and buy the card now, if not, don't complaint because you missed out on the deal, this is a group buy after all.

Great to see that you are trying to give this community a good deal.

One question. How do I sign up for the discount? I am definitely interested in a Zumo when they are available.

Thanks,

f1fan

"Hell, the 7200 can do all that, and takes, duh, Garmin software."

Hell Radman, that will be way to easy, the funny part is that it is NOT a Garmin available system yet comes with the Garmin software and operating system.

It is connected to even a video MP4 player so when I park my bike, I can watch video or pictures on it if I wish, or just listen to the XM radio or MP3 music.

It is a two part unit so the display is spearate from the navigation unit.

fhaze

"Alright already! spill the beans! or post a pic.. email me an I'll host it for ya!"

I might take you up on it. Damn, it's raining here today in Sunny Calfironia San Jose. :angry2:

I am waiting to download some MP4 videos so I can play if for you guys, I think Ewa Sonnet is pretty hot along with Vida Guerra pics and music.

Got to love it, fast chicks and fast bike! ;-)

I would have put a 7200 on the bike, but the size and display of this unit is a lot better.

On with the guessing game, you guys that are sharp with the computer should not have any trouble figuring out this one if you have enough GPS knowledge!

I see Escort is coming out with a GPS. Garmin OS but with the Escort name on it. They call it the c550, looks like its something Garmin already has, just renamed. See escortradar.com for the lowdown. Not a bad price though MSR @ $699.

Bill

Well Bill, that's the way things are going, they rebox and rename the same system and allow them to lower their price and hold their dealers to MRP. They stick the dealers with inventory and sell to others for less.

Yeah, it is a Garmin C550 with a differnt name, but that's not what I have on my FJR since it is a 7" display much like the Garmin 7200's and 7500's.

The fun just never stops!

Called Rick yesterday and got signed up. I'm starting to like the Mag. 2200T the more I think about it. Don't really need the bluetooth since I prefer to check my phone at rest stops and I like my XM receiver as a stand alone unit. Less buttons to push to change the channels, I imagine. And the user interface looks really easy to navigate through.

"Did you nail down a mem price yet?

I would like a 2820"

Please contact Rick at 650-328-8832, he is in charge of all the prices and forum benifits. I have told him to reduce the rpice less then our actual cost to blow these out so we can get ready for the ZUMO's.

Well, he was kinda high on the 2730 when I called last week. Has that changed?

I think the problem with the Garmin 2730 is that Garmin sold at a special deal to a distributor that was selling to Costco, this price was not available to direct dealers.

We are upside down with it with NO PRICE protection, so Garmin asked us to just send the units back for credit instead of taking a big lost which we are doing.

Rick probably was quoting off of the dealer price and the price you are seeing is from this distributor that was selling to Costco at a much deeper discount. They released it to some dealers when they are not suppose to and this is the reason why you see some pricing is lower.

I don't mind breaking even, but when Garmin asked me to send it back for the full credit I paid for and I have the choice of that or losing money selling to the forum. Well, that was not a very had decision.

I think the 2820 and the 2720 deal should still be good, the 2730's we sent back to Garmin for full credit.

Sorry!

Thanks for understanding
