The issue of shipment has been resolved. Escort will be shipping directly from the factory and include the free hard wire kit, so the GB is alive and well for all.

All I ask now is that if you get in on the deal at the last minute, please mail your funds to me ASAP, as not to hold things up for others.

MM2 - Even if your unit is shipped directly to you, you can still ride into town and show it off to me, hopefully without a performance award in the other hand of course.

If you call him on Monday, he may allow you in on the discount, if you deal directly with him in regards to fund's transfer. It will have to be between you and him now.

Sweet! Nice job Sky. Can't wait to get my second unit for the family car. Too much trouble switching back and forth from the bike when I hop in the cage. Plus, I got an extra window mount and suction cups for years of trouble-free operation.

I had an interesting radar-related encounter the other day, in the Camry, on my way to visit my bike at the hospital. I saw an opening down the right lane of the freeway and started to blow by a line of cars in the lane to my left (about 80 mph). Suddenly my Escort alerted so I backed off and started looking around. As I cleared the line of cars to the left, an HP cruiser shot by them in the lane left of them and just as he committed to not taking the exit ramp I was taking, he kinda hit his brakes, then it seemed as he hesitantly continued on down the highway. I think he was expecting me to bust out into the open, where I would pop out right in front of him. Once he shot past me, he noticed me, and I think he was trying to decide whether to stop, back up, and come after me on the other freeway, then just kinda said "f it". I wasn't speeding anymore, and I don't think he had radar info on me since I was covered by the traffic to my left. So, I kinda figured I had inadvertantly run from the Highway Patrol. If it wasn't for that radar detector, I woulda been had.

I pity the foo who didn't get in on this deal, then gets a ticket that would have paid for the detector instead.
