Yeah Groo, you sure did miss some good riding into the night. I got home after midnight after riding around with Mike.

I definitely took the long way home and it was actually cool out because of the earlier rain.

Passed by there the other day and it was open for business.

We did not get much structural damage inland and had very little rain. Tons of trees are down and some tin roofs blown off here and there, but not bad really.

Surfside got it worse of course.

I have heard it through the grapevine from several sources that the land that the Angleton Icehouse is on has been sold and will be a Whataburger.

There will also be a Subway built in the vicinity soon as well.

Do not know when all this will come about, but eventually it will.

Just something to ponder.....

The folks that I know and ride with meet in the Clear Lake area instead of coming down here to Angleton anymore.

So go to the Two Wheeled Texans forum for info on that. I may go this Wednesday to meet up with them there again.

They have been trying different locations so be sure you know which restaurant they will meet at.
