if anyone sees mr tim wilkin, tell him to get back to the forum already!! he's been MIA for a while now and he's not responding to my PM either. i'm starting to worry.
I just sent/received an e-mail from Tim Wilkin - he had some health issues in December that have kept him off the bike for a while but he is doing OK now. I told him we were wondering about him - even more than usual.

fjrchik - PM me and I will give you his home e-mail address.

I do already have that and I heard from him last week. Sad news but thank god it wasn't worse!! Thanks though Mike!

the local joint is now serving mud bugs on Wednesday night so I'm going there instead.

The burgers at Hamwed are good - if you can eat them when they were done two hours ago instead of now when they are dry as wood.

Lago Runner - Hamburger Wednesday at the Angleton Ice House which is in Angleton Texas, which is about 30 miles south of Houston off HW 288.

Started years ago by a group of NASA guys looking for somewhere to go on a mid-week ride. A little bit of everything shows up there so all are welcome. More show up in the warmer summer months than this time of year.

Always the last Wednesday of every month. It would be a long commute for you.

BTW - I will be in Lago Vista this weekend riding moto-escort for the bicycle road races going on this Saturday and Sunday. I will be on the blue '05 FJR - come out and spectate.

That danged SV-650 does not not offer much protection from bugs on the face shield - and they were bad last night.
