I've been real happy with the Philips Xtreme-Vision bulbs. They have lasted longer than others I've tried and put out good light. I usually get them on sale at Powerbulbs for cheaper than a set of Silverstars.

Silver Star Ultras, don't look back. I just lost the left side after 63,000 miles on them. Changed out both and now have a spare. I used the OEM's in my TW 200 Coyote Catcher!

The LEDs are arranged to mimic the filament on an incandescent bulb, and the cutoff seems spot on to me. They are much brighter, and they throw light where it's needed further ahead instead of making a hot spot closer to the bike. I haven't been flashed yet on low beam. The color is a little cooler than I would prefer, but for the price and performance, I'm very happy.
