More than likely, it will be a quiet ride. But if there are two or more groups, would be nice to have some comm capability.

Don't mean to make it more complicated than it will be. But if you HAVE a radio, try twodeetwo, twodeetwo. (or fi'teen, twodeetwo if you have a 'Woody).

I'm about packed and ready to leave tomorrow at lunchtime. I installed my new backrest and I'm ready to go:

Notice I'm also bringing my Corbin seat with me. That's so when Dogger Dave blows by me at warp 8 and taps my mirror, I don't have to clean the brown stains off my saddle. I can just swap seats. Guess I'd better bring a change of drawers, too!

Yep. Might as well put the rain gear on before you leave home. No matter what direction you're coming from, there's a good chance you may get wet. But then again, you know how the weather is in the midwest. It could change at any minute....

A slight change of plans for me. It looks like Racerboy and I will meet you at Blackbird corner. We will leave a few minutes before you and wait there until we see the whites of you eyes. You did tell this group about Blackbird corner, didnt you?

I can still remember the sight of that BMW rider on his K1200 as he flew off the road at Blackbird corner, disapeared from sight, and was caught by the barbed wire fence in the field. That bike was totaled for sure. He was lucky. I've noticed he doesn't ride with us any more.

I was not on the ride when the Blackbird rider had his feather plucked at that corner.

Hi guys, weather is looking good for the weekend. Some may get wet on the ride down on friday. There will be a place to wash your bike if needed.....Going to be a busy day on Friday, Skooter is getting a cruise installed, Adam is in for a set of tyres. Chester a heattroller and a Bluesea. Mark in for some tyre work.. My big brother is needing a rear tire ...

But right now I am off to Walmart to do the 2nd annual Hooterville BB-Q food shopping. Looks to be 15 to 20 guys :yahoo: here this weekend.
