Nicer still how the driver opens their door and then sits there while others come from a much greater distance to check on the rider.

******

Prolly already working on story about how it was the mc's fault

I'm too am baffled at how slow everyone is to react. Notice how the Jeep just slows down then pulls away... :(

The biker looks like he was moving pretty quickly, probably too quickly for those types of conditions, still, I sure hope there was grass just out of frame!

Too quickly? You mean for like a dry road during the day? And at 35mph, thats what a sudden stop would look like. Not a slam, but don't be making apologies for ******* cell phone yakkin morons who shouldn't be allowed outside the "home" much less on our roads.

Sad and scary.

Doesn't seem as though the rider was going all that fast and it doesn't appear that the rider hit the brakes until the last moment. Looked as though he was changing his line, but not enough time. Wonder if that Gold Wing air bag system woulda helped?

Butt Bag System would be worth it just to help me survive long enough to turn that drivers face into raw meat.

I'm certain that among the first words out of the ******'s mouth is 'I didn't see him'. No ****, Sherlock. If you saw him, I sure as hell would hope that you wouldn't turn in front of him just to make sure you got a spot at the pump.

Hope the rider is OK.

Hate to see stuff like this -- but a good reminder to stay focused and to anticipate that some moron might turn right in front of you. Far far too many people that have the IQ of a houseplant also have drivers licenses -- it is scary how stupid and reckless they are in their cage. Riding is one of the great joys in my life; and I try to stay focused and vigilant to these potential idiots -- and anticipate their worst behavior.

Sure hope the guy made it. Ride safely all. Jay

Watching these videos make me sick to the stomach. I hope it wasn't as bad as it looked. The driver of the car was probably under shock otherwise there is no excuse for him to just sit in the car.

radman, I'm not making any apologies for ******* motorist behavior. I've almost been killed twice by "cell-phone yakking morons". It just drives home how much riding in urban situations is like playing chess; you've always got to be three moves ahead of the other guy!

Yeah, but he was waay kewel pulling the wheelie. That car should have realized he was going to change lanes for the video camera. Doh!

Thankfully he was wearing the appropriate riding gear in preparation for an untimely incident.

After all the cage driver was looking in the gas station where they were headed wern't they?

I had a cage do that to me some night about 1975. I was PO. THE sob saw me (drunk) & said he ran out of gas that is why he took the right away. I enticed the ******* some, he finally hit me in the back of the helmet. LEO came and he had warrants so he spent the night in the slammer. I wanted F*** him up bad! Had some gratification there. Another drunk leaving a mall at night pulled right out in front of me and doesn't accelerate. LEO saw the whole thing. DUI

Stay safe!
