Just dropped below $2.00 here. Not that I'll be able to take advantage of it anytime soon.

Your doctor's lowered heating bills and gas costs should lower your surgery costs.

EDIT: Sorry about the poor humor. I'll save that for Beemerdons posts.

$2.05-ish along the Gulf Coast in Louisiana now. The major oil companies have already pulled the clutch here on some longer term projects. For how long, nobody knows.

$2.48 in Gridley, Ca last Sunday. Woo Hoo, wait the party is over.. Fuckers in Sacramento are adding a 10cent tax on the first and going up all year.

Wish I could kick all the bastards in the balls who think we don't already pay enough in gas taxes.

I know this doesn't count, but, I had gas rewards (BiLo supermarket) credit of $1.70, gas was 219.9 with a limit of 20 gallons, so I filled up my vehicle (15.5 gallons), brought my boat gas container for the rest and got 20 gallons for 9.98 (haven't seen that since the '70's, early 70's at that)....................sweet.

I never thought I'd see these prices again. Ever.

How long this is going to last is anyone's guess. I've read 10 credible opinions on the subject and have 10 COMPLETELY difference ideas.

A buddy of mine and his family have oil lease land in the Dakota's and he says his monthly check is Waaaaaay bad. He says he is getting about 20% of what he used to.

Here in the west I saw 2.19 in Bend yesterday.

I hope that guy's next check is even smaller. They have been sucking on this inflated oil & gas tit for too long. It's about time things come down. Don't know how long it will last, or how bad it will get afterwards when they try to make up for "lost" profits, but I'll enjoy it while it's here. AND just like they don't care how much $4/gallon gas costs me to take my kids camping for a weekend, I don't care how much money they don't make while prices are closer to reasonable.
