Good luck with that one flyfisher, you are going to need the Queen Mary or Carnival Freedom to float FJRay! Jes sayin' and nuff said, TONNAGE!You might be crazy but that probably has nothing to do with what you ride or how you ride. I'd look at the purpose built machines rather than modifying your wing. Have fun test riding 'em and get whatever floats your boat....ff
You sell that coupe and I'll jimmy kick you so bad you'll be on yer worn out knees for week! ...the red truck, maybe.. Wing, fjr, sure. Guns, sure. Dads coupe? Nope, no ways.Test riding a Spyder RT in the morning. The problem with conventional trikes is that under hard braking especially in a corner they want to tip over. The Spyder has computer controls that take over in that case and prevent most stupid moves. The Spyder also has a power assist on the steering which a standard trike doesn't have.
The main problem is affordability. I have to decide which toys to sell to generate the capitol for the Spyder.I would want to keep the FJR or the KLR so that means the 48 Ford coupe or most of the contents of the gun safe need to go. Low milage 2014 or newer used units are going for 16k and up. I want the newer version for the bigger motor and better economy
Ran into an older couple at Arches a couple years ago, carried a Burgman on the back of their motor home fitted with the biggest, plushest, comfy-est seat I've ever seen on any bike--at least the size of the biggest Goldwing luxury seat, rear armrests, the works. Might want to consider?Wonder if there's a market for a comfortable touring-type bike that weighs less than 500 pounds, or maybe something like already exists but isn't cool enough to be widely purchased?
Dibs. It's first dibs, Dougie. :lol:You can wrench, already have a Wing-trike it!
First dips on all those unwanted parts you'll be pulling off.
NOBODY would want one of those, after that happened to it.I wouldn't have one of those if it was shoved up my *** for free.and would not a Polaris Slingshot work just as well ?????
How right you are. I'm actually working on moving things around in the shop so I can install some new lighting over the restoration side of the shop next week. It will be nice to see what I'm doing without looking for a light all the time. Get ready for an assault on your check book....but starting to be the time of year to make some $$ restoring /2 BMWs!
Marky-Mark that is what I told myself and I went out and bought a BMW M3 Convertible because my right shoulder does not work well enough to ride a two wheeler, but yesterday I went to both Arizona Powersports and Apache Yamaha to discuss trading in my 2013 Yamaha FJR 1300 "Naomie" one a 2015 CanAm Spyder F3!!!To each his own, but if I can't lean it over, give me a 2015 Mustang GT convertible. Wind in my hair, plenty of available scenery, and AC when the sun gets out of control.
