GEICO $41.50 a month, full coverage + uninsured motorist ( a must have in Newer Mexico) that also includes liability for my 89 Honda TransAlp

 
Your $140 rate is being subsidized by what they are charging you on the other insurance. The real cost is what you can get it for without all the other stuff. To find where they are making up the difference you'd have to shop for the best price of the other insurances too.
Sorry, not true - the subsidizing comes from folks that sign up with them now and for single insurances, as in no package deals and no long time customer award rates.

These guys turned out to be cheaper by far on every single one of our insurances when comparison shopping, and I did several comparisons over the last ten years. The deal is in the package discounts + long term + preferred customer discounts together. It helps to not have had to use them much as well, but when I did need them they were right there with no hassle payout.

I do agree that SOMEONE likely overpays for my fee to be able to be this low, but it's not me.

No tickets or accidents in 12 years.

 
Progressive $291 yr. full cov. $250 ded. also insure an 07 Honda Rincon on the same policy $116 yr.

No tickets last 5 years.
