Tech Day in Western NY?

You know don't you, if you get just one more bog stomping drunken Canuck Hoser showing up for this FJR Forum Event you're going to have to rename this: "Tech Day in Southernmost Canadian Province, eh"!

I'm a possible interloper (if I'm well enough between surgeries)

Add another Kanukistanian to the party!

It'd be great to see you!! At this point, it does appear there is an invasion force planning their attack, so you'd be in good company.

Hmm...

I have some 'things' up in the air right now (personally speaking) so depending on how things work out between now and then, chalk me up as a definite maybe.

June 7th look free for me, just need to run it by management to CMA.

At the moment I don't need anything done to my bike but that could change between now and then. If nothing else I'll put some faces to the names of some of you hosers....eh.

OK, so I'm going to officially say this will be Saturday, June 7th. We're still over two months out, and I know things change all the time, but here is what I have for those who have at least expressed an interest in this cluster feck:

Top_Speed/KJ

SLK50

fjrob1300

YamaFitter/Bill

Geezer

ice_station_zebra

RaYzerman/Ray

Huron52/Tom

extrememarine/Wayne

Intech/Bob

El Toro Joe

BikerGeek99/Andy

That's quite a list! I have five beds in two rooms, plus three couches and a backyard/deck for those who like the outdoors. As stated in the beginning, I have basic tools only, nothing specialized (although based on the response, my wife may approve a purchase or two, thanks everyone!!). Oh, I do have a heat gun and soldering iron for anyone who needs to do some electrical work. At some point I'd like to get an idea of the type of work we'll be doing. Personally, I think I may want some assistance/direction in lubing the drive splines on my AE and/or a fork oil flush. For those doing oil changes, etc, I can pre-purchase any required items and have them on-site. Just give me a heads-up.

So, I'm committing to host this extravaganza, for better or worse, June 7th. Here in the 'Garden of Eden.' Even though it may result in the Canadian annexation of my peaceful little town...

No need for tools (just a bottle opener)...and the only work that will need to get done, is killing a couple coolers full of beer.

Step 1. Beers of the World.
Step 2. Wegmans for ice.
Step 3. I-90 toward Buffalo.
Step 4. ...
Step 5. Profit!

Will there be any Roast Beef on Weck??

I will also have to make my customary stop at the Mighty Taco on the way down since there are no decent tacos to be found in the Great White North.

We could arrange beef on weck, and I will definitely make sure we get some chicken wings. And you'll be glad to know (as will the rest of the Canuckistani Invasion Force) that we have our own Timmy's right here in Eden.

OK, calendar marked, I will cage it down early Saturday a.m.. Save me a bed for Saturday nite........ yes, it would be helpful to know what jobs are on the agenda so we know what tools we need to bring....

I'm going to try to get there.Maybe I can follow Geezer over

You are certainly welcome to ride with me. I don't know exactly when I'll head out yet. If folks are going to arrive Friday evening then I'll probably do that, Otherwise it will be an early departure on Saturday morning.

I plan to bring a tent and sleep in the yard.

Tent works for me. My own tent . Not sharing with Geezer.
