Does anyone know if I could/can get longer hydraulic hoses for the clutch and front brake fro my 2005 ABS? I want to get a little more free play after installing 2 risers...

It's a 2005 ABS. Anyone know if the ABS would be a problem for the front brakes

Thanks as always.....

Back when we did a GB for brake lines in Gen 1 days...the manufacturer offered an option to make some custom extended lines. I'd try the majors to see....i.e. Spiegler, Galfer and the others.

Don't know whose bike it was, but someone at the Reuben Run last weekend had extensions on their hydraulic lines. don't know the particulars though. Don't even remember for sure if it was an FJR. Looked easier than replacing entire line though.

Take your lines to a local hydraulic shop.

If they are like mine they can extend them as needed and then test and DOT certify them.

I didn't need to do it on my FJR but did on my Roadstar Warrior, they brazed a new fitting onto one of the steel blocks and then built me a S/S line with the appropriate banjo fittings on the ends.
