Since we had such a good turn out last year I thought I would try this again.

For those coming from the areas of Oceanside to Temecula and dont want to ride up alone we will be meeting at

Shell station at 79 & 15N just south of Temecula. (Take 15N to the 79 Exit. Go WEST on 79. Shell station will be about 2 tenths of a mile on your right hand side. Huge American Flag.)

Meet up at 7:30, KSU 7:45.

Start it Redlands at the same Starbucks

(Starbucks

627 Orange St # D

Redlands, CA 92374-3246)

KSU 9:15

Up the 38 into Big Bear.

Lunch

18 to 330 (for those that want to bail early this is the spot otherwise continue on 18)

18 to Arrowhead.

Snack

18 to 138. (For those feeling adventerous can split off here and go up 138 to 2) If 2 is open

Continue on 18 to San Bernardino

Snack/pee break then home

Anyone interested?

(Addendum) I was hoping for a good turn out but DAMN. Due to the amount of people that have signed up, we are going to be breaking up into three groups for the ride up to Big Bear. Sante Fe, Peg Scrapper and Slappy will be leading the groups. Sante Fe likes spirited rides so those that want a little adrenelin might want to think about joining his group. Peg Scrapper Enjoys a more moderate pace but still very enjoyable. Myself, I will have a pillon and will be taking in the sights and barely pushing just over the speed limit. We will have a couple of pull off areas where we can all have a stetch. This worked very well last time so that every type of rider can be accomidated and get the full enjoyment out of the day. If you have any questions please pm slappy.

Hey! I'm from the other side of the mountain and due to the fires and a bunch of fire bugs, a Captain of the fire department up here told me last week that the 2 is shut down for a while. Too many little fires "surprisingly" popping up. It is shut down at about the same place it was for the past two years when there was the rock slide and all that damage to the road. I fortunately got to ride it about 2 months ago while it was still open.

Where are you gonna meet up for lunch in Big Bear? I could meet up from my side and then split off at the 138 near Hesperia and head back home. Let me know!

I'm in at 85%. October is pretty booked for me (dirt bike-rv-desert season :clapping: ) but if I can get away I will show up.

Recently got onboard this great Forum. Ride a 04...the Fastest (Bounce..pls note!) Pls count me in. Was planning a ride (again) to Lone Pine / Mammoth with the Beemer crowd, but this is too good to pass up. Pls advise Starbuck's address for the GPS & meet time. Cheers

Starbucks

Mud run already happened two weekends ago. I have a coworker that was in it. Unless they do it over multiple weekends.

Besides, why would you want to play with Marines?

OOPPSS! Aging brain / eyes missed the address at the very top of the thread. But thks anyway.

There is a mud run scheduled for 10-17. Had to reserve a place by January, to get in. And the reason that I'd want to play with the marines is much the same as the male members of the forum wanting to gaze upon a bunch of cute young girls. Eye candy works both ways!

Next year remind me so I can get a space too.
