Remember his other posts about gear. He crashes a lot so it probably takes time to get back on the bike and duct tape things back together so he can ride.

Hey all, I found the first mistake while trying to develop the maps. The Shell station is actually an Arco station.

Actually, the gas station with the big american flag really is a Shell station - Slappy has this right (don't ever expect me to repeat that). The Arco station is directly across the street (to the south) of the shell station. Both are within a stone's throw of each other.

Since we had such a good turn out last year I thought I would try this again.
For those coming from the areas of Oceanside to Temecula and dont want to ride up alone we will be meeting at

Shell station at 79 & 15N just south of Temecula. (Take 15N to the 79 Exit. Go WEST on 79. Shell station will be about 2 tenths of a mile on your right hand side. Huge American Flag.)

Start it Redlands at the same Starbucks

Up the 38 into Big Bear.

Lunch

18 to 330 (for those that want to bail early this is the spot otherwise continue on 18)

18 to Arrowhead.

Snack

18 to 138. (For those feeling adventerous can split off here and go up 138 to 2) If 2 is open

Continue on 18 to San Bernardino

Snack/pee break then home

So to finalize the gas station thing let's meet at the ARCO across the street from the Shell station.

Johnny, I dont know what issue you have had at your local Shell but I assure you, you can get gas at ARCO and the Shell people wont say anything to you. The flag is in a very large parking lot. Again I promise you the Shell people wont say anything. Really its OK. If you do have an issue with the Shell people Ive got your back and I will handle the situation.
