All right if I read and follow this post right.... I think we all agree that the next 'grab' is a transportation device being used as not originally conceived. So I riding I will go, with my camera..... if I get the honey-do list completed that is.

"Transportation device as not originally conceived" seems to be wide open -- just some sort of weird customization. That about right, Russ?
That is what I was thinking. I like the 'weird customization' characterization. It will hopefully produce something as interesting or weird as the double ended Omni.

Now I have to go read the rules.

Maybe it's just me, but I like tags that are open to interpretation.

Oh, that's a Dodge(s)? I thought maybe is was a Renault(s).

But I suppose it would have been hard to find two of them to splice together that weren't completely rusted out.

Weird customizations... So I guess something like this would apply...

Looks comfy to me.

Note: this is a file photo and I'm not even eligible anyway (per those rulz)

Assuming my tag is accepatble the new tag is: A bonus ocation from the Iron Butt Rally. Many of us followed the IBR on thiis very forum last year courtesy of Warchild and a few others. The theme in 2013 was transportation and this was one of the available bonus spots the Antique Auto Club of America Museum in Hershey, PA. The bonu required a picture of the sign at the entrance.A picture of any previous year IBR bonus location is the challenge. Please cite the year the location was used so the rest of us can check it out.

Your new tag:

Find a power plant with a big smokestack.

You almost Bruced me Fred. Started out this afternoon for a '13 bonus but had a last minute change in plans. Saturday is supposed to be nice.

Nice Fred! Almost a shame I'm not eligible to tag back right away. I live almost within sight of TMI. Big cooling towers and site of one of our country's worst nuclear disasters.

No, I don't glow in the dark!

Ok. These big enough?

Next tag - Something presidential. More than a bridge named after them or a monument but someplace where a president or prime minister had some sort of personal connection.

That is hilarious. I was going to use the statue of Franklin Pierce as the last tag, but it was right front of the state house and wouldn't have required any riding.

I do have a good place to use for your presidential tag but am ineligible for two days.

Grab

Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center in Fremont, OH.

New Tag

Glass

I grew up in Toledo, The Glass City.

Find something related to the manufacture, distribution, sale or installation of glass.

This is what's left of the LOF plant my grandma used to make nose glass for the B-29s during WWII.

LOF was bought out by Pilkington back when I was still in school, but they still make plate glass in the Toledo area.

And here are a few products that another prominent area glass company makes, taken right out of my recycle bin.

Not much activity lately. Everybody must be out shopping.

Grab - cute little decoration in Leroy, Indiana

New tag - hope this is acceptable, even the guys that have their bikes stored for the winter can get this

Your bike and your favorite beverage this is typically associated with Christmas. This is Mad Elf Ale brewed by Troegs Brewery in Hershey, PA. Only brewed just before Christmas every year.

Thanks for moving the game along griff. No problem with the tag choice. Nearly anything is fair game, as long as it's something not limited by specific region.
