A number of riders have asked for a Candy Butt ride -- start late and finish early, so weather permitting on next Sunday I've got your ride. Right now the ride will tentatively start with KSU at 10:00 at MC Donald's Store, 26674 Range Road, Windham, NH. The ride will include several fun runs of twisties glued together with rides through farmland, quaint villages, views of the Little Bay, Great Bay and expansive hill top vistas. The ride will end with two choices, one in Candia at Rt 101 and the other in Derry at Rt 93.

This map is representative of the ride, some details will vary. The total ride is < 3.5 hours of moving time; about 30 minutes less with a Candia exit. The map below is a clickable link to the actual Google map.

If anyone has any special requests, I'll consider 'em. I can make this ride with out a GPS, but if anyone is interested I can put together a GPS route.

Looks like we have even better roads next door here in WI, however... looks like a fun stretch through White Mountain National Forest to the north a bit...

Let me see what is going on with the boss lady. She had previously given the thumbs up for an early ride and home by lunch kind of day, but will see where the new timeframe puts me. Maybe I should try and convince her to actually ride her bike for the second time of the year.......... <_< Yeah, I'm sure that'll be a great selling point. :assassin:

Sell it like it is..

An easy-peasy ride.

I hope the weather is like today. I had ants in my pants all day to go for a ride. Work is getting in my way AGAIN!

CJ if you don't get in a few rides over this fall, I don't want to here the oh I shoda's (I know you guys have a great Oct. plained) But still get the wifey on the back.

Hope to see ya! :clapping:

Dennis NH where are ya?

You coming? Wifey coming.. put the kid on the back while you still can lets go have some fun! :clapping:

Oh. I am looking for that CD.. for my daly meditations.

Make no mistake, even though this is a shorter ride the smile to mile ratio is extremely high. This ride has many miles of quality twisties interleaved with very scenic roads. In short, the ride is short but intense. I'm sure that people will want to come back and re-ride portions for the fun and other parts for the visual enjoyment. Candy butt yes, but(t) really nice too.

Now you've got our attention!

We have a house project that MUST be done by Monday, and if we can wrap it up by Saturday we may see you on Sunday.

Alan's map is a little small to tell for sure, but if that section D-E-F is what I think it is, you are in for a treat.

Have fun on the ride!!

See you all the following weekend for CBoNH '11

Indeed it is! Maybe we need to ride it once for the scenery, then loop around and ride it again for sport :yahoo:

B to C and H to I ain't too shabby either.

Hahaha, when I do sell it like it is, it's usually "No". I'll get my rides in, don't worry. And I won't mention to her you said she should ride bitch...... She might ride HER bike up there and let you have it!

Is this a rain or shine event?

...Is this a rain or shine event?
If it looks like it is going to rain for 100% of the ride I will reschedule for some time in Oct after the Covered Bridges ride. Even though there is a rumor of rain I will not cancel on just that. I'll take a look at the weather situation on Sat and see if I can make a call then.

Very good, then. Assuming you'll be posting up a note here calling it either way. :) Looking forward to riding! My plan to make the covered bridges ride looks like it's going down the tube

Sounds like a great candy butt ride in the south. I would really like to come out in play but I don't know how many hours of ride time are left on the ass end of my Feejee. The new sneakers showed up today and I sould be all set for CBoNH11 <_<

Weather bump.

As of noon on Sat, the weather oracle sees tomorrow as being mostly cloudy and 82°. The ride is still on. Tomorrow morning @ 7:00 I will make the final ride call and post it here, but as far as I can tell we will be having another Grand Day Out.
