Feb 2004 !!!! :)
Hey, I think I recognize one of those bikes. IIRC, the one with the tankbag is my '04 "flyer", parked next to Rogerfaster's (w/ the big windshield)! I also seem to remember someone getting a new nickname: "Goat Trail Dave". But that wasn't real rain, more drizzle and heavy fog, and Sunday was absolutely gorgeous and sunny. Then there was the great dinner and meeting Joos.

Is the "Highlander Estate" getting any snow" from this storm?

Yep !

Snow this AM and a little more in the PM. The driveway was VERY interesting this afternoon ! ( 500 feet twisty uphill @ 45 degrees, sheer drop on one side for those wondering :D )

Highway 17 was closed for a while.

Actually, Tim, it's now forecast to rain Thurs. and Fri., but be sunny @ 65 on Sat and Sun. Good for we who live up here, not so good for those who would need to travel. :(

Wellll, they've since amended the forecast...Thurs-Sunday= showers. No use getting real excited until about Wed. We'll see what the forecast holds, then. Too much is changing right now.

If mail post men/women can deliver mail in the rain, why can't we ride in the rain? All of us wear rain gear as do the postal workers. :haha:

I predict cooler temp in the valley morning over cast clearing by 10am chance of a light drizzile along the coast letting up by 9am . the rest of the forcast looks sunny and warming with temp. in the nid 60 - low 70's until later in the afternoon the temps dropping back to their normal lows for this time of year. All in all it should be a pretty good week end. So go out side and enjoy your favorite activity........ MOTORCYCLING......

this is your forcast for march the 18 2006

The above forcast is subject to change do to changeable weather condition.

Hope this helps you out mm2

Foul weather only brings out the hardcore riders, not unlike the proverbial separation of the men from the boys. I can't make it for other reasons, but rain alone wouldn't have stopped me (but I'd definitely be solo)

My scoot may not be avbailable by the week end. Damm this is gettin old! Wheels took a hard hit on the edges of a pot hole at , well. not coasting.. Bliped them both and they are being straightened.

I'm hopeing to make it.

Tim

Yeah, I'm riding. Showers on Thurs and Fri, partly cloudy...low 60s on Sat. It's going to be a great day to be on the bikes and riding with friends.

Catherine won't be able to make it. Knee surgery a couple of weeks ago is her excuse. I'm still working on mine. Maybe it won't rain and then I won't need an excuse.
