Let's get through this one first. I'll email you and we can discuss what weekends you are w/o your munchkin and are not on duty and we'll go from there.
Too bad for Catherine, but it's more important for her to get her physical therapy done properly and heal well. Sitting on the bike for hours would not be conducive to proper healing for a knee.

My son's LaCrosse team just rescheduled a game that was cancelled to this Saturday!
My son is a senior this year so this is the last year I can get out to these things and I really want to make a concerted effort to see him play. I think we're going to be bowing out of the ride.

O'vale, not to worry. Priorities, man, priorities. I missed too many games and events. Besides, at the rate its going, the list is shrinking fast. I've been contacted by 3 other bikes who aren't going to make it for various reasons. There's always the next opportunity.

The forecast I just checked is mostly sunny, no rain, high of 63. I may be bringing a work acquaintance on a 1000 V-Strom and his brother on an R-1.
With this forecast I just may have to cancel my emergency dentist appointment this Saturday . . .

I have to make an emergency run to San Jose tomorrow. B-I-L has taken a turn for the worse, so I'm going to sneak over and spend some time with them "alone" (in Intensive Care--yeah right!) rather than with the "entire" family on Fri or Sat. (I hate extremely emotional events) I'll be back on Fri morning--and on the ride.

If mine were running, I'd be joining TWN to Napa before heading back home Friday night. So it pretty much sucks. I can't even make the best of a bad situation. The diva's dad requested her company this weekend since we kept her last weekend out of turn. It'll just be Eve and I, home alone, 'watching TV'. Oh the sorrow...

Orangevale why not make a fun and pleasant day of saturday for your entire family instead of doing one of those half ass things and trying to be intwo places at once. go watch the game it will be the last time you will see your son play his last game in school. Wouldn't miss that for anything it is one of those priceless things that come along in life you will not forget.
And then make it a special day for your wife treat her to something special the two of you would enjoy.
