Hot Redhead???

Named Marlo???
Not sure Howie... You'd have to ask Don.

She's sitting on his lap in that picture

Now..About that oil? I've been using the used stuff that comes outa my 320.000 mile pickup.

Hell I figure if that used stuff hasn't hurt It, I don't have a worry.

Only the presence of the mondo-bra gave away the fact we were looking at the front, and not the back.

No belly-button should have its own zip code...... :puke:

Does any one use a good alternative for yamalube 4 20w40? I am considering amzoil 20w40. Looking for feedback of amzoil and others that antone has used.
Dern,

I have more posts and I still don't know antone... I have to get out more..

I've always wondered which oil to use...

...hopefully I'll finally get an answer on this thread.

Since ya axed, here is the answer. Follow these guide lines and Yamaha can not refuse a claim for a destroyed engine just because of an oil failure. When was the last time you ever read anything about an engine failure solely due to an oil failure?

2003-2008 Yamalube 4 (20W40) or SAE20W40 Recommended engine oil grade: API service SE, SF, SG type or higher

2009-2011 Yamalube 4 (10W-40 or 20W-50, SAE 10W-40 or SAE 20W-50 Recommended engine oil grade: API Service SG type or higher, JASO standard MA The included temperature scale indicates from 10°F to 110°F use 10W-40 and from 50°F to 125° use 20W-50

Note that the temperature table in the 2011 manual is not correct.

Understand that the FJR engine from 2001 to 2012 is the same engine. What ever oil the owners manual specifies is both forward and backward compatible.

No oil supplier was named beyond Yamalube but the oil specification was. Meet this specification with ANY oil supplier and you are golden.

https://www.antonbrownracing.com/home Eric, I am with you; don't feel bad because I also don't know who Antone is! Now, I did see Anton Brown race at Sonoma Infineon Raceway over in California and I wonder if that is who he is talking about!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anton_Mang Now, when I was a GI stationed in Germany while serving in the United States Army I did see Anton Mang of Bavaria race. But Holy Moly, that was in the 1970's and he is an Old Fart like your Papa Chuy Viejo is!

I think I found antone. That does look like amzoil she's using...or maybe hershey's. Personally I use the special dark in the summer and the milk chocolate in the winter. JASO certified of course.

I'm shamelessly trying to redeem FNG's everywhere.

Muchas Gracias Usul, this answers that question!

I think this is really pjrhodes trying to get back in... :dribble:

Our famous friend pjrhodes.

Thanks for the useless response. Sorry for the typo wipe boy.
Well, let's see now.......
First you ask the most NERPTy of all NERPT topics, and upon being lightly poked for it - and I do mean, lightly - you then proceed to slam a long-time forum member.

Not good headwork, Mr 8 Posts....... but at least it's not Friday.

Yet.

;)
hey dipshit, I don't sit on my computer all day to post on here, sorry.

What because you post all the time and have no life that makes you god on the FJR fourm? Your mother must be so proud. I get on here once in a great while.

I might see your response to this in 6 months when i get on here again.
EJECT! EJECT! EJECT!
Talk about self-destructing, MAN!

Loved Howie's hurt feelings report, that was great.

Big props to ionbeam (and both admins for being extremely polite) for taking the high road. Poor noob, he'll be missed. Scouring the land for his precious Yamalube for the little boat and bike.

I was using baby oil until I saw how many babies it takes to make a quart.

And 'gunt' is a word. Sort of. A term, anyway . . . .

Amsoil you dork. Its guaranteed to reduce friction. With that and the sweat generated, there'll be wet spots galore...

Is it really Friday?

I'm taking tomorrow off. :yahoo:
