I particularly like the little detail that the OP changed his avatar from NOS bottles (the energy drink kind) about an hour ago. Just adds a nice wrinkle to this saga.

...now off to a few other forums I frequent. I hope the admins here are OK with the bandwith suckage that comes from their member being famous across the Internet today.

They are getting so many hits to the site that they needed to turn the avatars off to speed things back up. Talk about epic fail, two bottles of energy drink into the gas tank. Even worse in a way is that he though two bottles of octane booster would help any problem.

I'll take credit for being hall monitor on that particular item. I think the signal to noise ratio is in the "about right" range.

And, although it would be interesting to have a famous FAIL here one time that spreads through other forums like a storm.....I'm hopeful we don't. I'd hate to get the call from DougC, "What the hell is going on with the forum? You should hear the hard drive on the server under my desk!"
