I wear jungle boots. They are cool in the summer. Give plenty of support, and if they get wet...they dry quickly. The best thing..... $21.95

Dude! Sidi Doha's $ 160 Bucks but, they feel like the most comfortable pair of Nikes you've ever put on. Well worth it.

New Enough is closing out Teknic Sturgis Boots. I ordered a pair. We'll see.

If you require steel toe and waterproof - go with the redwing

Quite a nice boot - get the unlined one or your feet will be to hot

If not steel toe and you don't care about nails or screws go with the bates

Stella bought a pair of Red Wings. She loves 'em.

Just purchased a pair of 8" high ankle Bates boots from Bass Pro Shop. The 5" probably would have worked better, but I don't like rocks hitting the ankles while riding. I must say, after 2 MSF range days, they've already begun breaking in well! I do wish the left toe was a little stiffer for up shifts, but I think they'll be a great work/riding boot.
