Yahoo! I forgot to tell you Greg. Geezers lead on that ride so you go first and holler if you run into troubleI reserved at room at Estes Park. I reserved two nights, 7/21 and 7/22 checking out on 7/23 so I can ride the dirt with Mr. Bill.
It's a real short hike to the Colorado River from the parking spot and we should be able to walk across without getting too wet.
Here is some history on the old native american path.....Old Fall River Road....
Mr Tripper,I'll most likely be rolling into CO late Sat. or early Sun. Any ride suggestions I could take that won't be on Don's routes? I'm thinking I'll have time to kill before we all meet up Monday night. Another thought I am having is maybe just take the long scenic route out there, perhaps drop down from Montana and avoid Nebraska all together.
If I do decide to have Monday to ride a bit in CO, how much time should I figure on to ride up n down Pikes Peak?
I thank you for the invite and I just might take you up on it Mr Bill. I had fortunate opportunity to have met Geezer at the last CFO and didn't struggle too much to understand him. But to be safe, I'll download a translator app to my phone just in case I get stuck on a few words.Your welcome to join Geezer and Eye on our Monday ride (this ride will need good weather in the high country). Just a heads up, Yankeessmelltalk funny.

I don't know if this is helpful, but this is the reason that I use my Discover card for all transactions where it is accepted. They have what they call 'Secure Online Account Numbers'. You sign on to the Discover web site and launch the online account number generator and it gives you a unique account number which can only be used once. The charges show up normally in your account. I use them for all phone and internet purchases.HEADS UP: I found out today that my credit card number was used illegally for over $1500 on three different websites, including a plane ticket on an Australia airline. Ordinailly, it would just be a simle case of credit card fraud, but in this case the card number was verified by my address and 9-digit zip code. Which means who ever did this had access to my name and complete address. This comes down to one thing being my credit card is in my hand, whoever did this had access to more than my credit card. The ONLY people that would have had this info are the hotels I researved over the phone to make reservations for this ride coming up Colorado Cluster ****. Any purchases I make online are only done on website that use encrytion to protect credit card information. Luckily for me, my credit card company called me today when someone tried to buy a plane ticket to or from Australia. That sent up a red flag. Now I won't have to worry about these charges, but now my card was shut down and the mess it may cause. I am writing this to inform anyone that may have made reservations over the phone where you actually give your name, address and credit card number to a real person. Better look real close for purchases made on your card. The only good thing about this is if more than one person doing the same thing gets ripped off, it will lead to the perpetrator or at least their location.
Jackass?
Who's calling who a jackass?
Great stuff Bob!Over the years, I have travelled many of the roads south of I-70, but rarely have I been in the northern part of the state. I was in Estes Park last year for a wedding, but took the camper van and decided that sooner or later I would be back on the motorcycle for more exploring. Don, who is a member of our local BMW motorcycle club, put together a ride through some of the great towns in Colorado. All told, about nineteen motorcycles and twenty two folks attended, some from as far away as...
