What are the discount points? In other words, at what number of committed orders do we get XX%? The reason I ask, is I know that we only need 25 to get 25% ( a size-able discount). People should probably figure that we will make that 25 threshold and commit based on that.Oh, and yes, the picture I posted a link to earlier is the "half moon" style. They actually have an example picture on their web site. It is a fairly new style for them. I think it is too damn sexy!! :brunette: I gots ta have this...

I am a definate maybe. I like the stock seat for short rides up Angeles Crest each weekend so if I was to get a Russell I would want to purchase a second pan.

I'll fill you in right now. The OE seats are 'spensive. Only way they are not is if someone else has already boughten one of dem dere Russell Day Long seats and don't give no shits about d'er old seat. Then the get cheapa'h Yessah. That the ticket.

Oh and I definitely have first dibs on any ole 1st gen pans that come along.

I think if you have good photos a ride in isn't needed, my mail order was perfect.

When I sent mine in in 04' I sent it in early (I had a Sargent I was using) and told them it was for the group buy and to do it in December.... Sent in 11/15, back 11/27!

I guess they had a slow day and decided to do it early.

Sorry FredW, I am a little confused by your reply. Are you saying that if you order a Russell Day Long you get to keep your old seat? I was under the impression that you had to send in your old seat and the pan was that base of the new Russell??
