I have been on a ride for the last 4 days and I am just now getting back and trying to get this all caught up. I see there is a ton of interest and we are now pulling interest from the Connie Forums, ST1300 Forum, and Sport-Touring forum. I see there were many who had trouble adding themselves to this list so I did this for them and please let me know if I did it wrong. For starters I just got an email from Heather who spoke to the boss today to see what they could do about our discount? They said 10-14 seats would get us a 10% discount and 15-25 would get us a 15% discount. This is different than the 25% she thought we could get at the time? I will call up and see where we need to be to get a 20-25% discount. At the very minimum I would like to see a 20% discount for everyone at 25 seats and up but for now we will need to work off of the numbers we were given which is still very nice of them. They wil need the stock pans sent to them and it will take about 2 weeks to get through production. They will not charge us until the item is ready to ship. I will need to see if there are any exceptions for people who would like to drive in like TwoWheelNut and me if possible. There was a question about repanning the seat and I do not know but I will try and find out in my next email to them and no this is not just for FJR's only. I will be adding others from other forums and I will make sure I put their forum info next to their name so we know how to contact them. Please keep the questions coming if you have any and sorry for taing so long to get back. Damn it was a nice ride.

Just stating the obvious here, but 15% is a long way from 25%. I forsee a number of people leaving the "For Sure" list if the discount is reduced by 40%.

I think its negotiators remorse. They figure they have stirred the pot and why not pull back some discount. If you figure the average order and then mulitpy it by the number of commited plus only half of those on the fence. With a 25% disocunt its still a lot of money. Thats a lot of business with no advertising and no traveling to an event and all that added cost.

I am in on my Dl650 Wee Strom if the discount is 25%. 15% is a winter discount almost every year anyway.

Yes, exactly. When negotiating with Russell for the discount this little detail should be "revealed" to them. I don't like the idea of dangling a 25% "or more" discount in front of the group and then pulling it back.

I count 61 names above and 62 with mine since it got deleted somehow. If 62 orders don't get you 25% off then something is wrong! If the average order is $400 which it will probably be higher, that's $24,800+ of potential orders!!! ARE THEY CRAZY!!! (Just thought I would practice my math skills here at work.)
