Guys, IMHO you all will probably get a better discount then the group buy from this time last year.
I got one and was pretty happy to get 10% off.
As Iggy said in a nice way, quit your bitchin and get ready to get a good product at a discount.
Beleive me when I tell you this, the russell seats make the ergos of your bike soooooo much better and most of you will be beyond happy when you finally set your arses on the new seats.
With that said the wait to get these seats is worth it,plus a nice discount,to the minority of youse guys,quit your complainin and line up for a good deal.

I rode trimmantom's bike a couple weeks ago and loved his Russell sooooo much that I just sold my Sargent and ordered one (I missed this group buy and am still happy)
This Russell felt as good as my 1800 goldwing seat that was re-done by wingsoft seats.
Its bigger,wider and way more support/comfort than stock.
I have bad hip/back and the Sargent was wayyyy better than stock but for me the Russell is better than anything.
I order one for all future bikes as well.

I just got off the phone with Heather at Russell and I thought I would start a post for those of you thinking about buying a seat. The special will be in December and the level of discount will depend on the amount of seats we purchase. The discount will start as low as 10% and could go up to 25% (maybe more) if we get some good volume on this group buy. Heather is going to send me the breakdown in the next few weeks but I thought I would post this now for those who might need to save up. Please post if you would be interested?

I'm remaining on the "Maybe" list till I see the details! How long comes to mind! I don't want to be without a seat for 4-5 months! It mat be comfy, but if you don't have it, it ain't worth sqat! With a potential for 70+ orders, it might take that long!

This may be a bit more work than Russell was thinking they would get. I wonder what their production capacity is.
