hey Wheatie how are you? I just found this post, put me down as a possible maybe? The bikes come out of winter storage around that time, and the snow is usually gone by then. I hate to pass up a group ride this close to me.
added there Marty...

AND JUST A REMINDER...the sign up for this ride is only open until end of the day 2/29/08 and there are only SIX slots left. (See post#1 for all the major info)

The registration fee is too high, and why isn't my balloon on the map?

Wheattie, a buddy if mine is currently shopping for an '08 FJR. He has a sporty Beemer K bike of some sort right now. Anyway, if he gets the FJR he wants to join this ramble.

Will he want to join the Ramble if he still has his K bike? Is he a good rider?

Yes....I DID have fun on 536. As it turned out, I was only 2 minutes behind all the sportbikes ;)

My personal favorite is 377 and some of 78. I prefer the long sweepers to the super tight technical. But I'm getting better

That "some of 78" wouldn't happen to be between Ringgold and Glouster would it?

Mmmmmmaybe.....I also liked some of near 83. I rode down a couple of different roads when I brought her home from Medina last August.

Where at in SEO do you live drc? I feel like I should have maybe passed you on a few roads round these parts. I remember passing someone on a Feejer following a person on a Connie last year.

He won't ride that far on the Beemer, it is not comfortable enough for him. He has been riding for many years and is a good, safe rider.

Geezer, tell him to just go ahead and order one. I was 'shopping' when I went to my 1st FJR Rumble - weren't you there? I was sold. 6 months, 7 tires, and 16,000 miles later, not one bit sorry. :D

Can't wait!

So THIS is cabin fever.......... :(

Just a few hours left until the signup closes...end of day 2/29/08.

Also Marty, I'm not planning a Rumble :) ...unless yer lookin' fer a fight. ;)

Got a room at the Athens AmeriHost for Friday and Saturday. Jeff and I are looking forward to this one. See everyone there. Wheaton, Thanks for doing this. Please post when the route is finalized, I'll have my new GPS on Monday and will get started plotting the routes.

I live just south of Zanesville. There's a good chance we might have passed before since I've seen a few FJR's while exploring S.E.O. roads.I usually ride alone but ocasionally with a Buel rider.I mentioned the Ringgold to Glouster portion of 78 because I love that section. It's part of a loop I ride at least weekly.

I'll have to keep that in mind. I'm now living just off of 821. Bout 5 minutes from 145, and not too far from some other roads quite worth mentioning... :D

I hope to have the route posted by Sunday night.

Getting psyched... :yahoo:

First post updated with BETA version of route.

Please carefully reread ALL of post #1 as I have included additional statements for non-FJR riders attending this little ride.

Is it just me, or were there 17 wks in February this year. The last 3 days its snowed 15 ft. in my driveway alone. OOOOOOOOOK! maybe its only been 12 ins. but it seems like like 15ft. anyway. I think its my [PMS acting up again] Parked Motorcycle Syndrome. Cant wait much longer to turn a tire. Come on April!!!!!
