Wow!

The Internet must be down world wide, not one "Off Colored" comment in more than a week, come on guy's what's up winter got everybody down. Come on, a couple more months and we'll be "zingin" around SE Ohio. Well everybody but "Gray Ray" that is, he's still tryin to get a leave from the geriatric hospital were he spends his long winter nights at. How's that for some trash talkin!

And Bungie'll be zingin' around the hotel parking lot trying to figure out where the exit is. He is a Canook, after all, and doesn't read 'Merican.

He'll get his revenge on me at CFR, though, since I'm an 'Merican and don't read Canook too good.

I know it is early still but since I'm not getting any riding in, I thought I could break up the boredom and at least start planning my route into Marietta and figure out my return route as well. Most likely going to play 1/2 day Sunday before heading back west. I know there's been a lot of talk about different roads and their conditions so routes may be up in the air, but does anyone have maps of prior years? Just want to get an idea of the general area where we'll riding so I'm not doubling up on roads riding to and from too much.

I have the maps from last year (2012). Uselesspickles and I were going to do a half ride Sunday last year as well, but the monsoon that moved through gave us pause. We ended up hauling north to get out of the rain and angle for home. PM me an email, and I'll send you what I have.

One place to start would be to download the two days of Ramble routes from last year's hoo-hah...then whatever you don't get on the west side...do that on the way out of Dodge on Sunday.

I'm thinkin' you shouldn't be calling this event now, or events that happened in the past, a hoo hah. I'm thinkin' your definition of the slang words hoo hah is much, much different than mine.

Edited to add: the slang word I am thinking of is spelled hoo ha... I don't know how I ever mistaked those 2 words. Sorry Mark...

Thanks for the info Heidi. It's exciting to know that with one little "slip of the tongue" I might have the future ability to offend "accidentally"...and have an innocent backstop. ;)

Mark, I'm thinkin Heidi was thinkin something totally different.

I was thinkin' slang... long time since I've heard someone use those words not as slang.

Well, If I tell Annette I'm going to some Hoo Ha in Ohio, she's not going to believe Mark's definition and I won't get to go. So, please, lets stick to story, folks, and remember, the roads are flat, straight, and boring...

damn, I need to get to work on the bike, the days are ticking away - only 80 days...

I'm going to get in touch with Spot and get an event page set up for those who want to join it. I'll post details once I have it worked out.

I don't think it is SPOT that does the event page. I contacted Jason at Spotwalla.com when I setup the page for EOM last year.
