Sounds like we need BikerGeek to host dinner Thursday night.
I can definitely provide suggestions (our place barely has enough space for me and Sooze, so we're gonna have to go out somewhere). We're on the northwest side, so that's where most of these places are:
101 Beer Kitchen. A constantly-changing beer selection and VERY tasty rustic food.
The Pint Room. A HUGE beer list and good, if a tad pricey, burgers. I'm a fan of their burger called The Hangover.
Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza. New York-style pizza, live music, and, of course, a pretty good beer list.
The Starliner Diner. This is the kind of place you'd expect to see on "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives."
Cap City Diner. Higher-end diner food. Their signature dish is their meatloaf.
The Bogey Inn. When I was a kid, the Bogey was a biker bar. Now it's a hangout for snooty Dublin cougars and yuppies, but their food is pretty good.
City BBQ. Pretty good BBQ.
The Winking Lizard. I'll probably be done with my 2013 World Tour Of Beer by the time the Ramble comes around, but I could be convinced to go there anyway.
Wurst Und Bier. Authentic German food and, yep, beer. Good thing about this place is there are several hotels within walking distance.
Barley's Smokehouse. A brewpub and a smokehouse. What more could you want?
So, ya, we have some options.
Wish I had an FJR so I could join the fun. Never ridden in that area.
Don't need an FJR, just a motorcycle. Hell - I brought along a co-worker last year who was on his Buell.
Somebody sell me a GenI ...........................................CHEAP!
You just missed Bust's very-low-mile '04 for sale at a good price.
