I think you could do better...I'll have a better look at your route at home, and see what I can come up with

Thanks Joe! Should I plan on extra luggage for the brewery and distillery stops along the way?

58 days until takeoff! Haven't ridden in two weeks and I'm sitting here watching more of this white crap fall out of the sky. I'm having serious withdrawal.
I think I have my route all planned out to Marietta. Anybody familiar with southern OH care to take a look at and give me any better suggested routes would be greatly appreciated.

Is it May yet?
I know you are slabbing until Kentucky, but just before you get into Kentucky, take the exit at Indiana Rt. 37. Take that south a short ways, then head east on IN 62/66 as it parallels the Interstate. Then just get back on the interstate at Corydon. Not too much of a time penalty...plus you'll have some fun. Watch out for that one decreasing radius curve though. :D

Na, your route looks good to Oak Hill, but I think I can find you some better roads from there to the hotel.
Now that you mention it I think I might have not saved it after adding a stop after Oak Hill. My intent was to follow along the west side of the river all the way to the Hotel, not go up 77.

Sounds good. I'll be looking for any break from the slab I can. Depends on how late Thursday night it'll be when I pass through there. Not a big fan of back roads after dark.

Looks like my co-worker Jim is gonna make the trip with me to SE Ohio on his VFR1200. Go easy on'em kay

Now it all just depends on the weather, I don't want a repeat of my ride down to EOM this past Sept. Ugh, 34F, rain and snow for hours.

Right, sure....

Must be something down that way that makes it worth the trouble, right?

Oh, I see now. You brought somebody "large" so you won't get picked on for whatever reason people josh you around. I see through your little scheme.

If yer feelings are getting hurt, just tell us, I'm sure most would stop.

:D

See you and your "big brother" in May!

Hey Guy's,

Great Day in SE Ohio today, 72 and sunny. Only managed to get 260 on the ticker, surprisingly clean for this time of year. Really pretty simple run, 800 to 26 to Marrietta and back, unfortunately had to ride most of it from I 70 to New Philly in the dark. I thought that it was going to stay lighter longer (forgetting it's only March, and not June) and got caught a little far from home. It's all good!!!! can

'T wait till May!!!! Has anybody seen "GRAY RAY" lately? Dastardly Dave. #65 MotoSeries

It was a damn nice day yesterday...
Sure was - I even got the forks put back together. I've got a vacation day to burn on Friday, so the list includes of all the crap stacked on my workbench - Pair plates, G2, floorboard passenger pegs, brake pads, fluids (oil, coolant, final drive), spark plugs, farkle wiring for RD, Zumo, Givi 12v, and heatroller.
