Thanks Joe! Should I plan on extra luggage for the brewery and distillery stops along the way?I think you could do better...I'll have a better look at your route at home, and see what I can come up with
I know you are slabbing until Kentucky, but just before you get into Kentucky, take the exit at Indiana Rt. 37. Take that south a short ways, then head east on IN 62/66 as it parallels the Interstate. Then just get back on the interstate at Corydon. Not too much of a time penalty...plus you'll have some fun. Watch out for that one decreasing radius curve though.58 days until takeoff! Haven't ridden in two weeks and I'm sitting here watching more of this white crap fall out of the sky. I'm having serious withdrawal.
I think I have my route all planned out to Marietta. Anybody familiar with southern OH care to take a look at and give me any better suggested routes would be greatly appreciated.
Is it May yet?
Now that you mention it I think I might have not saved it after adding a stop after Oak Hill. My intent was to follow along the west side of the river all the way to the Hotel, not go up 77.Na, your route looks good to Oak Hill, but I think I can find you some better roads from there to the hotel.
Sounds good. I'll be looking for any break from the slab I can. Depends on how late Thursday night it'll be when I pass through there. Not a big fan of back roads after dark.I know you are slabbing until Kentucky, but just before you get into Kentucky, take the exit at Indiana Rt. 37. Looks like my co-worker Jim is gonna make the trip with me to SE Ohio on his VFR1200. Go easy on'em kay
Now it all just depends on the weather, I don't want a repeat of my ride down to EOM this past Sept. Ugh, 34F, rain and snow for hours.
I just hope he's got a better sense of direction than you do...Looks like my co-worker Jim is gonna make the trip with me to SE Ohio on his VFR1200. Go easy on'em kay
