It was a damn nice day yesterday...
Sure was - I even got the forks put back together. I've got a vacation day to burn on Friday, so the list includes of all the crap stacked on my workbench - Pair plates, G2, floorboard passenger pegs, brake pads, fluids (oil, coolant, final drive), spark plugs, farkle wiring for RD, Zumo, Givi 12v, and heatroller.
Hey Mr. Extreme any chance you could snap a few pictures of the Givi 12v install? I'd like to do the same for my phone too.

Sure - I have pictures from when I put it together. I'll see if I can find the post where it's at or send you the pictures.

For Joe: Topic related - I'll have this Givi on the bike during the Ramble as well if you make it there and want to check it out.

I think Crump's coming to Tech Day. Sounds like a good opportunity for show 'n tell.

I think they should both save it for the Tech Day

I have updated the Spotwalla Location page info on the SE Ohio Ramble website.

Directions for joining it are listed there, and I will figure out if the site builder will let me embed the map directly in that webpage.

That reminds me. I have to renew my Spot subscription.
So what are you waiting for?
His hearing aids to arrive so he doesn't have to yell.
HUH?
Forgot to add, FYB.

Booked in for 3 nights (Fri, Sat and Sun), $240 inc tax ($71/night). 2Q/NS through priceline.com. Cancelable 24hrs before check-in, a real concern with the winter we're having.

Might want to give them a go before going for the group rate.

Guess I should start thinking about the stuff I've got to get done on the bike soon, huh 6 weeks!

I did too...at the same rate. Arriving Friday, leaving Monday.

...and yes, I have to put the shock (ugh, extra reservoir) back on...as well as the forks when it stops deciding to be freezing weather.

Wish I had a nice big heated garage with a motorcycle lift like the griffmeister...

Hehe.. Jim just left my office, he's stoked. But you should have seen his face when he realized it's a little better than a 1000km (600 miles) door-to-door and we'd be doing it one stretch. I think this is double his longest single day ride ever.

I had to settle him down by telling him google has it at 10hrs, I usually take 12, with stops. Now he's talking about leaving Thurs after work to break up the trip. "Naw, just pop some Motrin.. er, Ibuprofen, in the morning and keep riding."

"It should be okay, but we might be swapping bikes, I might need the the 'couch'" he says.

Looking forward to it, were gonna have a blast.

Don't swap bikes. Make him PAY for getting the sport tourer he got.

That's the funny bit, his brothers FJR (05) is parked next to mine in the Quonset. We'll see how much he likes the VFR on a _real_ day, not one of those day trips with 25 stops.

So when you guys roll in, I'll make sure to be standing in the parking lot, gear on, and say, "I know this great little place in WV for dinner, let's go..."
