Holy **** Will! Sorry to hear this, hope you heal quick. And hope to see you back on two wheels soon.

Holy cow - Glad you're ok, relatively speaking.

I can say from experience, I'd almost rather have a fractured vertebra again rather than ribs. No pain in the world compares to busted up ribs. Rest up, that's what is important at this point - let us know how your doing over the next couple of days.

Wayne

Well had a real crap week and won't be making this one. Lowsided pretty hard this weekend. Good things - no permanent damage to anything on me. Bad things - bike totaled, broken ribs which needed surgery and not sure when I'll get back on. I got really lucky on how it turned out but still sucks all the same. Hopefully get discharged yommorow. Looks like you need to find a new riding partner, Petey.

HOLY CRAP!!!!

Sorry to hear it Will. Hope everything works out for you.

Mike, My bud on the 07 ZX1400 will be disappointed, because I'm sure he wanted to meet and ride with you.

Heal fast and get back on the horse soon.

Aww crappola Will, sorry to hear about this. But at the same time, glad to hear you'll mend OK.

I'd tell ya to take a deep breathe and relax, but I'm afraid "relax" isn't what you'd feel. At least not for awhile.

Heal quickly W

Will, take comfort in knowing that about a month from now you'll cough

or sneeze and go: Wow, that didn't hurt!

For now, rest easy and heal up.

From a fellow rider who's BTDT.

Damn Will! Good news is that you are not seriously injured. I have only experienced a cracked rib and that was a new experience in pain! The bike can be replaced. Heal well. Hope to see you on the road again in the future. So, 2013 model???

We will raise a cold one in your honor!

I have a whole new appreciation for "broken or cracked ribs". Not a clue how painful it was. But it doesn't hold a candle to nserting a Drain tube into your chest cavity. I think that part of my week won the discomfort award.

I'll post a real report when I'm at a keyboard and a little more lucid.

Cracked ribs, drain tube... Come on, man, rub some dirt on it and get back out there!

Obviously j/k... Heal quick... Hooterville isn't too far away. (Too soon?)

I'm with Kansas City boy....

Show some spunk man...get out there and do some 8-count burpees and get on with it!

That's what I was thinking

Thanks for my new signature line. That, right there, is classic.

No more about this. This thread is for riding, not crashing. I'll start a new thread when I can.

Well I waited to long to make hotel res. Microtel is full, so I had to book Mike and I , Fri-Sun at Super 8 down the road.

We'll see you all there. Going to ride the area Sat & Sun, go home Monday.

It may be spendy, but their is a Hampton (I think) right across the parking lot from the Microtel. Give them a call, you never now. The Super 8 is not the best. Stayed there once.

Anyone coming from east (im in Lancaster PA about 6 hrs east). also does anyone need a roomie? (microtel is sold out so i would have to do the Super 8 next door). Ed

Hope you can make it Ed. BTW, the Super 8 isn't next door. It's a... https://goo.gl/maps/8cCp6 Hampton! You could walk between the Microtel and the Hampton in less than a minute.

Okay, scratch the Hampton, undergoing renovations from April to the end of May.

"There are no rooms available for 03 May 2013 - 06 May 2013 at Hampton Inn Marietta."
