Here's what I noticed. I downloaded them from the site (needed to specify .gpx), copied to my micro-sd card, turned Zumo on, it asked to import, I did. When I preview the route, it shows. If I hit 'go' and 'yes' to 'navigate to start of route', then it just takes me to the start/end point from my house. Nothing else shows up. This is typical of what I've seen before. The appear fine on my set up (Zumo 660).

Mark - I've got a spare frame if you need it...

West and East loop maps have been posted for download here. Follow the directions to download them. Use at your own risk disclaimer included, and special thanks to 0Face for pitching in.
NIce Work on the website! I sure wish I could get away from work and make it out there.

I was trying to put them on laptop, and got either http or xml format. I'll try putting them to gps.

Thanks

I got them on laptop. had to put .gpx for it to work.

The west loop looks good, but the east is as the crow flies(all straight lines). So when I recal the route I have no way of knowing if it's the same as you intended.

Art, what program are you using? PM me your email and I'll send you the overview jpegs. You can look at those and double check the routes that your software/gps calculates.

Here's a Dropbox link to the East & West Route Images from Garmin's Bascamp Program. CLICK

And here's another Link to the Map files themselves CLICK

Try recalculating it in your GPS program...
Same thing here, West route looks good, East route is buggered as described. Recalculating it doesn't change it.

First time using Basecrap instead of MapSucks (new computer about a month ago). I'll **** around with it some.

Looks like I'm out... A couple of other things taking priority right now. I'm canceling my room, if anyone is still trying to get one. Try to have fun anyway. :)

I'm loading the basecamp filtered east loop to the website now. It will be up in 15 minutes.

Map files and PDF version are up on the Ramble site now for downloading.

Well my plans may be changing. My brother might not make it. Looks like I may have to download the routes afterall.

Dl'd the Basecamp source from your drop box, much better.
Yeah, sometimes after a file has been moved around a couple times they freak out. I know for a fact that occasionally Garmin GPS's don't like the gpx files S&T outputs. They make the gps stop booting. totally weird.

Basecamp is a pain to learn but it puts the files in the Zumo much better. Import the gdb into Basecamp then have Basecamp shoot it to your gps.

I fired up my travel netbook and re'dl them into MapSucks. Fired them over onto my GPS and bingo. Life is good.

Guess I'm gonna have to spend some time learning BaseCrap.

Now I've just got my fingers crossed that when we leave the hotel on Sat/Sun, the damn GPS doesn't have me doing a Uturn back to the hotel and going 'Done!'.

By Friday, I'll have a 'special' map for Capt U-Turn.

I normally use Mapsource for all of my importing into my GPS. Tell me... I'm running a GPSMap 276C. Would there be benefit for me to learn this Basecamp... because frankly, my mapsource program has always worked well for my older unit.

Garmin is no longer offering mapsource or supporting it. You're fine until you need to install a new copy; that's where I am. I got a new laptop for school, and I'm not able to install mapsource on it. I've been using S&T 2010 because it exports gpx files and it works well in my zumo. 0Face has pointed out some features in basecamp that will make it worth learning to use (for me, anyways).

I like to stick with what I know as well, but I know I need to budget some time to learn basecamp.
