We have a winner!!!!!
I just noticed.....that tree's been downed by a damned beaver.....

I put together a little video of some ride highlights for the 12 months between Oct. 2011 and Oct. 2012. It was a big moto travel year covering three countries, eight states, 18K+ miles, and more wonderful friends, adventures, and SMiles than I can count. It's a bit on the long side but has some great music behind it... so get yourself a beverage, kick back, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did putting it together... some of the images evoked lots of other memories on various trips which may not show up in the video but they are forever etched upon my heart and mind...

We have this thing called "beaver round up" in my home town. It's an old school home town thing when all the trappers would go to town and sell their beaver pelts. Now it's just a carnival time for the town. Not often you see trees cut down that way in the big city.

Yeah we have something like that around here. It is called Salmon Days in Issaquah Washington. When I was young Issaquah was famous for a dairy plant where they made milk and ice cream along with the fish hatchery. There was thousand and thousands of fish and Salmon Days did not exist. When I was a child I remember seeing the stream so full of fish there was more fish than water in the stream.

Now we have Salmon Days, the dairy is gone the fish hatchery remains. I figure we get more people at the Salmon Days event than fish at the hatchery. And so it goes.....

I just made time to watch Tyler's wonderful collection of photos. Wow. That was really impressive. She even got to touch a whale. The closest I ever get to touching a whale is Mrs. Redfish Hunter and that is really not much fun...

Okay I'm feeling left out and depressed because I didn't, due to my own stupidity, have a bike last year. So I'm going to cheat and post some pics from my trip to Key West on the Harley.

On Skyline Drive in VA.

While I was walking around at the tunnel in the photo above I noticed this guy up on the ledge to the left of the tunnel
