I really like that KLR Mike. Functional and clean (in a good way) looking. What GPS are you running on it, and do you like it?

Nice bike!
deffinatly an expensive bike

i found im not as young and nimble as i once was and im just to damn fat to be flying through the air anymore

so after motor number 3 on that animal it was sold to subsidize my fjr purchase

not the graetest bike for riding on the pavement but it was a great took for me to get my bike licence with

The ride from hell! I had no Idea what I was getting into.

Before, NH Classic held at NH SPeedway. over 100 miles of pure torture a day for 2 days.

2 guys I hooked up with to do the ride

Oh Yeh! that's what ime talkin about. :dribble:

After the mudhole

Busted Chain, pretty much ended my first day. Took me an Hr. to get it out of the woods.

Thinking about putting my XR back on the road again. Kinda miss it.

Dave

KLX 250 with a 300 kit, exhaust, intake and other enhancements. Big grin factor :yahoo:

This is my favorite dual sport bike, Senorita Salma Hayek; a BMW F650GS Twin. Here Salma and I are riding the beaches of Padre Island in Tejas, just before entering Mexico to ride to Real de Catorce.

That is my practiced Queen Mum parade wave, I was taught Royals Wave by Fairlaner from our FJR Forum here. However, Richard does his Buckingham Palace wave way much better than Papa does!

I'll be damned, Don, if you ain't just as ugly in photos as you are in real-life! :p

Great pic, btw. I miss my DS days. I cut my teeth (and my legs, arms, hands, face, back and front) on a Harley Baja 100. You remember that Aermacchi POS? Was hauling *** down a fire road at an airbase, preparing to jump an irrigation ditch....full compression on the fork when I hit the berm, LOUD CRACK from the steering head area, and as I went airborne over a 10 foot wide ditch, the entire front end fell off the phucker! In mid-air!

Broke both legs, one arm and my collarbone when I hit. Actually, I only broke the arm and collarbone when I hit.....the bike broke both my legs when it landed on top of me.

It was truly a "Hey Y'all...watch this!" moment. I was about 18 at the time. I was off bikes for almost 2 years recuperating. But The Dirt Days were good ones.

No kidding, Steve-O; that was a bad one. I should've shown you my left elbow when we had dinner together this Spring. Crashed my BSA Victor 441 and had three pins through my elbow for a month!

She don't like mud much...not that day anyhow. Post mud nap after getting caught in pretty heavy rain in an off-road ride in the mountains east of Taos, NM...lost my skid plate on that ride. oops

Cool pix Patch308. Looks as the the big GS isn't keen on mud. DH and I found out that it doesn't like deep sand either, especially fully laden with camping gear, and full pressure tires. Not keen on tight turns, two up in deep gravel either. But, that said the bike just goes and goes. You pick it up, throw some more insults at it and it goes some more. I have the G650GS which is a better proportion for my height and lack of strength.
