Some statistics about the GB so far:

There are 40 GB players ordering 46 hydration kits.

As of today, based on names in the database, at least 5 of the starters for the 2007 Iron Butt Rally are part of this GB, along with a very prominent figure of the IBA. B) :yahoo:

Folks this is huge for me, that my latest farkle will be going along on this many bikes for the big one next year. This also means that all riders’ previous setups and thoughts about hydration have changed to go in this direction. In case you didn’t know, LD riders spend huge amounts of time and energy planning their bikes’ setup to be as efficient as possible. IMO this is the biggest accolade for a farkle I can imagine, and I’m truly honored and humbled at the same time. :good:

The most popular color choices seem to be black and silver, with blue close behind.

The base finish options are: 19 black, 13 clear anodize with the rest opting for no finish.

Hey Skyway,

You were talking about making a mount for other rides. Any update on this? The Beemer group would open you up to many more customers.

Can I then expect each one I bought will improve my finish order by at least one position....unless a fellow competitor is equally outfitted? :p

I'll even have to put an entry on my 2007 Iron Butt Rally Blog when they arrive.

Meanwhile, headed to Wal-Mart this evening to trade a funky jug I tried to make work months ago for two of the conventional 1/2 gallon jugs.

I can't guarantee this, but I can guarantee you will not be thirsty or be drinking warm water, provided you keep 'em topped off. :D

Once this GB is out of the way, and time permitting, I plan to take a close look at some other popular ST bikes, and maybe provide a plug and play setup for them also.

Shyway,

I placed an order two days ago, today Paypal notified me that the funds did not get picked up yet. No hurry on my part, but I'm worried that I may have sent it to the wrong email address. Let me know?

PM or email me your correct email and I'll check it out. ;)

Ian, I have a question...
When I filled out the form, I input the bottom portion with a color of black, and the top with blue. Will that make it look like the picture you have with 2 materials (except that your main material was grey)? I was a bit confused about that... whether it will be the entire top that's blue, or just the edging. I was aiming for just the edging, but now I'm not 100% convinced I got it right.
Thank you, That is exactly what I ment. I thought the price was Very fair, I would have paid more if neccessary. I just wanted to get the money to you without knowing the amount, so I sent extra I think. And no!! I wont be one of those.

Lucky :( :( :(

It's possible that lucky meant that he had paid more than was required by the GB terms, not that he thinks the item was overpriced...

Now that i said I won't be one of those. Discribe "those" to me so I know what not to be!!!! Thanks.

Lucky B) B)

Don't sweat it Lucky, everythings OK. Just to let everyone know that I will be checking recieved payments vs. what the GB actual pricing is. If there is any over or under paying I will straighten it out. ;)

Warchild,

That is a good looking tabbed form on FJR tech for placing the order. What editing program do you use if any to make them?

Thanks,

Hi folks. Just want to remind everyone that there's only 2 days left to sign-up and be a part of this GB.

If funds are tight for xmas, if you want to sign-up, I will allow payments to be received no later than Jan 5 2007, unless a prior arrangement is made between us to extend this date.

Merry Christmas everyone, and if you spot a couple of elf's who don't look busy, send them my way cause I could use the extra help. :D

As of today 43 peeps are in with 49 kits ordered! <insertslurpingsmiley>

You planning on posting a list as to who ordered just to make sure we sent the money to the right place?

There is a database that has captured every one's information who has signed up on the GB. Once the GB is over I will be cross referencing that information against payments received. If I see something that seems odd, I will contact them with the email which they used to sign up.

Skyway, I just ordered one of these bad babies. I would like to thank you greatly for this & your support of the FJR family in general,

Heidi

Thanks Ian. Been so busy I almost missed out. Order and payment sent. Happy Holidays!

These forms are actually Flash objects, written using Cold Fusion.

And yes, they are very trick indeed. B)

Very trick! You should become a web developer for a very large technology and aerospace company.
