We have finally had some good ride leadership come forward in SOCAL and because of that, some really great and fun rides. We started this list back in July and now have 90 riders on it. I can say that I have had the pleasure of meeting and riding with over half of you on this list with the largest ride so far being to Borrego Springs with 24 bikes and 25 people involved in the ride. I look forward to what the next few months bring as far as group rides go and encourage all of you on the list that are on facebook to join the SOCAL FJR Riders Group on their as well. Looks like the 08A's still hold the lead on this list. Thanks for all you inputs for making the list better. Ride safe, keep the shiny side up and the wind at your back.

This is an excellent reminder. Also, if you PM me the information, it remains private, will only be given to the rest of the group and will get a quicker response as I am not on here as much as I used to be.

The problem I have with Facebook is people send invitations without adding "FJR1300" so I don't have any idea who they are. When requesting friends it might be a good idea to include FJR1300/City,St. in the invite.

I'm also not getting any distributed emails about rides from Facebook. I'm not a regular user of any of the social networking apps. Do we have to login to get ride notifications?

It is listed under your groups, or should be. It is SOCAL FJR Riders Group. What I will do, is once I confirm someone just added to the list as a friend on fb, I will then send out friend suggestions to the rest of the fb group. So if you are getting the friend suggestion from me, it is one of the folks from the list and fb group. I won't send friend suggestions for a non group person to someone in the group.

I will be sending out the updated list shortly which is now up to 95 members. I changed Jdog's bike from the 05 to the BUSA so that we have a fairly correct listing of the bikes everyone rides.
