Just to be clear on the valve check/adjust - I have ZERO experience with that, and not much more confidence. If someone wants to attempt that, they need to bring their own talent.

But I do have tools....
Gunny FYI It's best not to perform such a task unless a couple conditions are met:1) The host is willing to put the valve check person up for a night or so.

2) The owner of the bike is willing to leave said bike at hosts home for...? Until it works again.

Not that it's real nasty, but if anything goes south, it's not a quick fix to get back up and running.

I'm interetsed Neil.

Either day.

Will be great to see everyone again.

I could do with changing my brake fluid. Wasn't it you who had that handy bleeding tool?

Yep, there's a bleed tool in the garage.
God Damn It, I demand that everyone stop calling my Buddy Neil San Diego a Bloody Tool!

Don't worry Neil, I have got you covered, I won't let them slander you! Only Fairlaner is allowed to call you that!

You did notice didn't you FJRBluesman didn't spring to your aid and defense; you can always trust tu Papa Chuy!

I will say this about the valve check. If you don't have any clue about how to do it then pay to get it done. If you have read everything and know how to use tools then I can help as you go. Make sure you get a shim kit unless you want to wait for shims. The dealers don't always have them in stock.

I need a valve check again too...

Richard I expect to give me **** but I don't take any crap from and old broke dicked Mick. Don :****: you

You wish it was fixed...

I feel so sorry for our good friend Neil San Diego. Each time he opens a thread it goes to hell in a hand basket. Not sure why but....

He wants to help other needy Feej folks and we have two pages of fix’ens, and a dash of quotables. Neil, we're all in with ya bud. ;)

At least there's no nekid women on this thread.

Yet....

I'm in on either date. Need to lube the splines. It's a procedure Johnny seems to enjoy

"A host of friends. I have a host of friends."

Looks like the 19th is the best choice here. I'll give it a day to sink in and make sure, and then we can make it official.

Neil, the 19th sounds good to Papa Chuy. Do you have any motels or hotels near your house, let's say within 5 miles?

Not that it will affect most of you SoCal folks, but it looks like there will be a Good2Go memorial ride on the 19th here in Phoenix. Details still to be worked out. But that would take me and mi ******* step-pappy out.

Thanks Greg, was unaware this was in the works for Greg.

Neil, I would have to attend the Good2Go Memorial Ride.

Given the circumstances, I am going to let this sit for another day or two. FYI, Dec 3rd is another option. At this point, Nov 5 is no longer possible for me. Let's hear what the socal folks are thinking.

Thoughts and prayers for the family and friends of Good2Go (Greg).
