I'll be heading out tomorrow morning at 0 dark thirty (or whenever I decide it's time to wake up), I'll stop by Moonshine for lunch then head over to the Indiana Welcome Center on I 70 to see if I can gather up a few free Maps. from there I plan on getting lost on the back roads. depending on how many banjo pickers I run into see ya at Wendys.

Great Karl!

Glad you can make it. :yahoo:

Would love to ride with you guys on this trip - we had a death in the family though last night and I am not sure of the arrangements at this time. I live close to Corydon in Brandenburg and may be able to at least meet you over in Corydon once you arrive. Any idea where you may have dinner over there?

Don't have any idea right now. You have any suggestions?

First of all, sorry for your loss.

Hope to get a chance to meet with a fellow FJR rider.

Well, it would depend on what you like. :) There are several restaurants over there - Culvers (Great hamburgers and other sandwiches, etc.) Beef O'Brady's, Cracker Barrel, O'Charley's, A couple of Mexican places, a decent Chinese place (not a good place for a large table though). I am going to try to get over there to meet you guys though so maybe someone could give me a ring or something when you arrive? I could pass along a cell # to someone...

Thanks Wheaton. It was my brother in law - had a heart attack. I am going to try my best and get over that way depending upon the arrangements that are made for the funeral. Would you mind if I was to pass along my cell number to you?

See you soon

Scooper

Hey, guys, I had a really great time and it was good to meet everyone. I opted not to take I-64 home to Vincennes and ended up going back through French Lick, basically the way we came down. I was tempted to ride 550 to Loogootee until I saw the new chip seal. It looked really messy and slick. Thanks, Hal for let us know about that. I doubt Carl would have wanted to ride it again after his experience last year resulting in the purchase of a new FJR. Hope everyone arrives back home safe.

Got home to NW Indiana about 5:30 pm today. Thanks Wheatie for setting this up. Enjoyed meeting some new folks from down der - Scooper and Ms. Scooper, kycherry and Ms. kycherry, Don and Dawn fjr, ET, Racer and of course my old ridin buds Wheatie and Airboss. See some of yuz guys at EOM in September. Hope to get back to Southern Indiana before then.
