I bagged 400 miles on Sat 5/10 with my Dad (rides a 04 Gold Wing) celebrating his 69th Birthday!

We rode from Kingsburg to Oakhurst on 99 to 41, then up 49 all the way to Jackson for lunch, then back home to Kingsburg. First "real ride" on the new feejer, and it was a hoot.

OK, OK, OK, I didn't jump in on this thread until now, but since it looks like it is starting to get interesting, I will will join the herd.

I started the year at 17508 miles on the ODO, and as of this morning I am at 20133, for a total of 2625 miles so far this year.

I usually track my mileage is this thread over on the Sport Touring Forum

Since it is just for those of use here in the Midwest. It is depressing to see how many miles some of you in the warmer climates get in every year.

Another 450 miles to report from last post. Total of 1350 miles on the 08 now. :yahoo:

I'll easily add 12,000 miles for the whole year because I'm already at 5750 miles for the year. Mostly commuting miles and I'm pretty hard core about that. I had a week of temps in the 20's and one day had to scrape an inch of snow off the bike to ride home from work.

No exciting trip reports although I'm planning on taking the wife on her first long distance ride this weekend. Tacoma to Tri-cities WA. This will be a trial run for her before our planned Montana trip in June.

I can't believe I did see this thread sooner. Lets see I am @ 52952 and started Jan. @ 49586 so 3366 so far.

196,692 to here

Thanks for all the new posters. This thread is becoming what I hoped it would be, a very entertaining record of what the forum is doing. I read all the posts as I'm logging them. Thanks for the good humor, thanks for the amusing asides, thanks for all of it. It's fun keeping up on what you're doing on the world's best sport touring bike.

By next total, we'll be over 200,000. That's kind of cool.

Cheers to all of you

Kevin

I've had my 07 one year and have 19,550 miles on it in that time. My commute is 280 miles/week and I do it year round. I also ride with my club, Coast Riders, mostly on day rides in CA.

Ok, just another 120 for me last weekend (I was sick :angry2: )

but startin on thursday next week, I'll really rack up the miles heading from Slovakia to Milan, Italy, meet with stef and see how many miles in Spain we can put on!!! It'll be a couple weeks, but I'll come back with some respectable miles then.

Sorry for the late reply, the weather has been ok and travel for work has cut into my time on the bike. Started the year at 49, 356. I am at 51, 458. That adds 2108 so far this year. My commute is 100 miles per day so I should get to 4K by end of May. Then it is off to Poland and Turkey for work for 2 weeks in June.

Hey Trigger, we need a 'compensating factor' for those wussies who live in Santa Barbara.. Us real men, like you and me, just tough it out and ride anyway..
