What time do you expect to hit Markleeville?
About 11:30ish barring that it's still a 9:30 departure from Jackson. Push that out accordingly if this group votes for a later departure. I'll edit the top post if it changes.

Since we are not trying to meet up with Cayrt we can sleep in a little longer if we want now. Any Innie's care to bump our Mels start time to 10:30? Then we could just grab something to eat in say Arnold on the way back down the hill.
I'm okay with a later start time so I can sleep in a little :lazy3:

Than it's unanimous (Rick subconsciously voted in his second post  )

Now leaving Mels in Jackson at 10:30.

So, 12:30 ish, and lunch there?
That's the plan, but lunch may just turn into a snack or ice cream. We have nothing but time so if you want to chow hard we'll wait.

So, just to keep up, you're not talking breakfast, lunch, dinner and ice cream. Is this an FJR ride for ex-'Wingers? :p

No kidding! I have to go put on my fat-jammies just reading about all these meals. I'm usually happy with a Payday and Gatoraid.

Pre-load here I come.

I'm with you, Brad, a Clif protein bar and a glass of orange juice, we'll stop for lunch someplace.

Then again, these rides are a great opportunity to socialize, too. And Karen NEEDS her ice cream.

Last Friday I rode down 101 to L.A. (had lunch in SLO with dCarver) then back up the 5 slab on Sunday. So after that whole weekend plus Friday out of town and 900 miles of riding I'll be needing to stay close to home next weekend. Hope to see you another time, amigo. JB

Uh Oh - Karen just perked up when I said "Ice Cream"! [if I say "treat" then the dogs get all excited. You really have to watch what you say in this household!]

Okay - 0930 at Mel's. :clapping:

Ran out of work, so off to Santa Maria tomorrow to watch a niece graduate (what up with FRIDAY grad dates - I KNEW I couldn't make that day, until it turned out I could) and won't make it back in time to play with you all. No duct tape needed. Diamonds were more in the form of honey-dos, not sure if they can be traded forward for the next group ride...

Guess I'll have to make-do with a bunch of slab and a little Hwy 58 action on the way down, and some Big Sur coastline / Hwy 1 on the way back north.

Maybe next time,

RsvlFeej
