After caging it about 4,000 miles to Minneapolis and back, and seeing too many Harleys and not enough FJRs, upon returning home yistiddy I was pretty ready to get back in the saddle. So I invited myself down to Silent's to accompany him on a bread run to Pescadero, which is somewhere near the ocean.
So I got to Silent's in San Jose an hour south of Concord at 9AM. We went out to breakfast at the local Denny's, then headed off to get our bread. Temps on the ride ranged from 90 to 65. Like Goldilocks' porridge, I was either too hot or too cold all damn day in my 'stitch!

Stopped for a quick break at a local Bay Area ride rendezvous. (Group at left part of the Hands on Head club.)

Ray made me take a picture of this Ducati 'cause it was cool or sumpin'.

Stopping for bread and a sandwich for lunch at Pescadero.

That's an ST1300 in there somewhere, along with a chick bike on the end (it had a dooley-whop feathery thingy hanging off the license plate).
Across from the bakery was a nice picnic area. Note the musicians in the back right. (Very California foo foo.)
Pescadero State Beach just ahead across Highway 1. (Girls in bikinis dead ahead!)
Either direction is good.
