Mich Ultra ****. I wouldn't water my lawn with that crap. Doombar is where it's at or some Old Speckled Hen.

You would never see an ad like this in the States for that watered down piss that KJ drinks...

Old Speckled Hen

And that was "Debbie" who drinks Mich-U, not me. And, if it keeps her hiney tiny, I'm all for it (for her). I need to buy you some reading glasses!

I'll be tipping one of these tomorrow... (hump nite party in my backyard).

Bikes were turned in yesterday. Two of our blokes got tagged with photo radar in Liverpool (41 mph in a 30) with one of them being Ben who will be having more surgery today to repair his smashed ankle. Sometimes your luck just runs bad.

I've been trying to get the opportunity for some sheep shots since they are all over the place in Wales and when we took the back way out of Crickhowell I finally had a chance to get this shot for Bust....

DSC_0022-L.jpg

We were waiting for Bart who was a little delayed when we left the gas station in town....

DSC_0023-L.jpg

We rode for a couple of hours stopping in at the Nags Head Pub for a coffee break....

DSC_0030-L.jpg

Simon found a bowler hat and a top hat for Lynn....

DSC_0031-L.jpg

Our two group entertainers Frank & Jerry then needed to get into the act....

DSC_0032-L.jpg

Jerry provided most of the entertainment throughout the trip. Some of you might meet him since he will be in Newfoundland when we are there for CFR and I have his itinerary and we should be able to met up.

DSC_0034-L.jpg

If you find yourself riding through Wales and see this place make sure to drop in for a pint....

DSC_0035-L.jpg

Orgininally the plan was to bypass Bath but Frank wanted to check out the town and we had the time so....

The Bath Abbey...

DSC_0041-L.jpg

The abbey was located right beside the Roman Baths. A few of our riders toured the baths but I found a nice cafe in the square and had a salad for lunch.

Knowing how much of a foody BikerGeek is it would have been shameful of me to at least not get a photo of Jamie Oliver's restaurant in Bath....

The prices scared me off from going inside.

I think this store front sign in Bath kind of sums up my feeling about this tour....

With that it was time to get the bikes back. The closer we got to Bornemouth the worse the traffic got and it was tough to keep the group together. We had one more little spat of English Liquid Sunshine but we rode out of it just as quickly and turned the bikes in.

Later that evening we had our farewell dinner at an Italian restaurant in Bornemouth. The Galati was truly an out-of-body experience...

and so ends another little romp. We head to the airport later this morning and I'll be home in the Great White North to shovel my way into the house later tonight. I have hours upon hours of GoPro video footage to go through and will be posting those up over the next few weeks.

This trip was one of the best I've taken and I can't thank our guides from Motoquest, Lynn, our group leader and Simon our support driver for the hospitality and assistance they provided. It was tons of fun and the rest of you blokes need to get over here to experience the TT for yourself. Nothing you have done will ever match being up on the Mountain on the Isle of Mann tapped out in triple digits just to be passed by Guy Martin or Michael Dunlop out doing some unoffical practice. I felt like I was tied to a post when it happened to me.

Yo Billy Fitz, did you happen to see another famous Irish racer and a good friend of the Dunlop's at this Isle of Man T.T.?

Riding #46 is Mick O'Keeffe from County Sligo in the Republic, a hell of a road racer and a grand gentleman. Sinn Fein!

Here is a rough edit of some GoPro footage from the mountain on the TT course just to tie you blokes over for a while....
IOM TT Mountain Section - Thursday

I thought I was going OK till I got passed.
It happens around the 3:28 mark.

Is that a giant cow or sheep with horns at the 5:10 mark?

Great video Bill!

O'keffe is such a bad-***, he rides in the rain with his eyes closed. Wow...

Just got back into Toronto to catch some of the rush hour but made it home. I'm dead tired and I'm going to bed. I almost have another video ready that I worked on during the flight home and hopefully will put the finishing touches on it tomorrow. Good night.

Good Night Sweet yamafitter Prince...
Ooooh, geeezus.

If it's beauty sleep, Bill, you'll be needing more than you could possibly get.

Looking forward to the videos.

Really excellent job on everything so far.

...*******.

Hell, ...KING of *******s!

O'keffe is ...
AJ, could you POSSIBLY have ****** up that spelling any worse?

Are you SURE you're not from Michigan?

That is an oversized statue of Manx sheep which is a breed only found on the Isle of Mann and is distintive in that it is the only sheep with four horns. I really should have let Bust answer this one since he is the subject matter expert when it comes to sheep.

Michael, cut AJ some slack. He spelled "is" correctly so that would moved him up to Wisconsin at a minimum.

This next little Vimeo video was on of the most fun roads we found on the Isle of Mann. The road runs between the Bugalow Corner up on the mountain down to our hotel in Sulby Glen. It has it all, twisties, switchbacks, narrow sections. It even had sheep for Bust...

Not sure if you have access to coverage of the TT in the US (and elsewhere), link here to the ITV site. You may have to register your e-mail address but there's no cost AFAIK.
It looks like you need a British Postal Code to sign up. I tried both a Canadian and a US postal code and was not able to register.

Bust just loves a horny sheep. I think it's wonderful that it comes with both a cruiser and sport setting for some serious pleasure riding, depending on Bust's mood.

Great ride report ya *******!

So I take it that you were allowed to ride the course with no speed limit? Do you enjoy some special privilege that allows you to do that, or is that opportunity given to the public at some point during the event?

I'm enjoying this entire thread - I look forward to catching up on it every day. Thanks Yami for taking us along with you.

You could always try using a Post Code from one of the hotels you stayed at or failing that make one up from this good luck........
