It brings back memories when you and I rode back from Eureka, started out in mixed snow & rain, ending with the last 250 miles in 118+ degrees ride home. Punishment beyond imagination. Sparks in July, would require a trailer going through the heart of Nevada and much of Arizona in July.

You must have the Navy Confused with the Air Force, they are the ones with Air Conditioning etc....Us Squids have to stick together when confronted with these myth's propagated by the unwashed hordes.

I've yet to meet Big-D but I'm sure he deserved every bit of his combat pay Air Conditioning on Ships is for the equipment not the people.
