Don,
What do you mean if? >
Ok, I'm in for Sparks, but I am riding my own bike! I won't ride hoser for a flame retard. Or is that retardant? You know, fire-person!
David
Prolly outta take my name off for now....2) James Burleigh has been added to the list, can't have an FJR Forum Event without a 3 hour speech from Hans!

Excellent and outstanding point made by Marky Mark, nice to see Bokerfork sober and unstoned for a change! For you FJR folks coming from out of the region and there are quite a few of you signed up, just 4 days is not enough to really enjoy Northern California. Bugnatr and Papa Chuy went with the standard tried and true three nights with four days FJR Forum Event formula, but if you can spare the vacation time a week minimum would really let you explore beautiful NorCal! jes' sayin' and nuff said!So perhaps this has been broached, but being from Kali, having been taken on some of these roads by the likes of OM, MM, Hycle, RogDeb,Bluestreek, Uberkul,Dr Rich, on and on etc, I hardly think that you've allotted enough time for this. Just a word to those coming from outta state. Plan on staying a few extra days or weeks. You not only won't be disappointed, you still won't touch but 10% of the roads Kali has to offer.
JSNS,
Mark
I couldn't agree more. I've been to the area a few times now and I always want to go back. Between riding the great roads I've already been on and looking at all the neat, twisty ones I haven't ridden yet, there just isn't enough time.Excellent and outstanding point made by Marky Mark, nice to see Bokerfork sober and unstoned for a change! Great, go Jana!Just booked a room for Wed. - Sun nights (7/9-7/14). Looks like there's plenty to explore in the area to justify an extra day or two, plus I need to get some miles on this bike - she just had her first (600 mile) service done 2 weeks ago and temps have dropped beow zero ever since then... [mumble...b!tch, gripe...]
Anyway, this group appears to be as sick a bunch of misfits as any, so we should fit right in. Please add me (and Jana) to the list. (And... Should the odds be ever in her favour, Jana may even be riding her own FJR by then!)

The guy from Wheaton standing directly under the sign is the pack leader - a real trouble maker. Almost 13k posts and he is still a FNG!
I remember a good battle with Rick in Sac on the track. Good thing there was no alcohol involved. The whole WFO Reno event was too much to bear (or was it bare). I photographed the entire event and shot the alternate judges downing shots and we all ended up at the go-cart race car track, spinning each other out. Radman (Man-****s winner) led the way.
Book the room, you can always cancel if you can't make it.First I plan on a ride across the Mongollon Rim from Prescott over to Silver City (SW-FOG) this May. Anybody want to ride along and share lodging? MsNASCAR will be staying home, glued to the TV for a weekend of racing for her fix.
And to answer your question about a meet up in Sparks, MsNASCAR is pushing me in that direction. We might book the room tomorrow. I'll let you know when it's made. The mountain passes are some of our favorite roads when we lived in Santa Rosa.
+1, Gunny; Dougie Bear is right on Ed, book the room now and you can easily cancel it later. My Miss Donna is also a NASCAR addict, Jacquie and Donna can sit in the Sports Bar at the Casino / Hotel watching the roundy-roundy guys run while we are out riding our FJR's in the Sierra Nevada!Book the room, you can always cancel if you can't make it.First I plan on a ride across the Mongollon Rim from Prescott over to Silver City (SW-FOG) this May. I'm sure MsNascar can find some really big screens to watch the boys go in circles.
