Changed oil & filter, FD oil, spark plugs, TBS, had to replace those little rubber caps after TBS as all 4 were cracked and pretty much shot. Turned over 80k miles on test ride. Still runs as strong as the day I bought it.
You can have that New England traffic Dave! My commute was pretty easy but the skies are clouding up and I expect to ride home in the rain.Oh well, bike needs washed anyway. Day 163 consecutive hoping Mother Nature is kind this winter. Considering a KLR or maybe a Grom for winter duty.
Rode it to work and somehow, struggling, resisted the very strong urge to miss the turn into the parking lot. Beautiful 66 degree morning with a forecast high of 80 and barely a cloud in the sky. Dammit dedication to one's job is highly overrated.
I rode it about 250 miles yesterday...problem was about 120 miles from home I poked my finger and drew blood on steel belt shards coming out of the tire. Somehow, I made it home. I swapped this well used T-30 GT 155/90 for a good PR4 155/90 and bent my HF tire changing rack and pulled out a floor anchor in the process. These big tires are a sum-bitch to change.
