Blizzard-ish. Started snowing around 2am, got about 5" so far and still coming down. Hovering around 30*F so now we're also getting sleet & freezing rain on top of the snow. What a hoot!
Wintry mix all day yesterday, throughout the night, still going on this morning. Temperature hasn't chnged much from 30-32*F so some freezing and some not, flip a coin. We lost power for about 30 minutes late last night, probably just had to be turned off for a repair farther down the line as the repair crew was "on station" before hand. Daylight = start digging out, looks like 6" of very wet and heavy snow with maybe ice on top.

I left that area on Saturday and traveled right past you I think. (211>74>220) Was a little impressed by all the prep work right up into VA. Overhead signs, cars being removed from the shoulders, and all the roads were freshly sprayed. Passed a couple of convoys of plows going south also. Nice to see.

You did, about 4 miles from my house. Things are mucho gooder today, sun shining and high of 45*F. Ought to have completely clear roads soon.

Compared to you SE Easterners my Unforecast 1" of White Crap this morning is a mere nothinburger.

Still it kept the GSA in the garage :(

Maybe I should just send the seat off to Terry Adcox for rework and forget about my December ride :( :( :(

Hit 39 degrees here in Tropical Montana today. No snow on the ground and nothing of note in the ten day forecast. Expecting several 40+ days in the next week.

As for you south easterners, better you than me.

Freezing rain this morning has switched over to light snow.

Forecast this morning showed only 1% chance of precip.

I must be really lucky.

Maybe I should head down to the casinos.

Cold as in 14F

Windy as in 15-20

Snowing as in - Horizontal and about 4"

Visibility - can't see the Interstate from my house (200 yards)

It is winter what do you expect?

Just finished pushing around the latest droppings from the heavens . Tractor is back on the block heater and battery tender waiting for the next deposit..

We have yet to have a significant snow-fall. Got about 1/2 inch today but it should be gone in a day or two. Not complaining.

We haven't had anything like past years but it's easier to move 4 inches than wait for a big load.

PNWET, still just wet with the odd dry day to get a quick ride in, hope it stays this way for a couple of more months. (no white stuff needed).

Good old fashion North Dakota Blizzard today with about a foot of snow, 50 mph winds, and temp dropping to 0 tonight. Saturday morning we will be in the deep freeze with a low of 21 below F. I haven't rode a bike in two months. I hate this thread.

That blows...maybe you should move south.

Rain here today, with a high of 58-60...tomorrow's high 35.

Just a good 'ol rainy day here BUT tomorrow looks like sunny and just about 50°. Think I might go check the air in the tires later :) .

Sun is out, the wind has quit, but "It is cold enough to freeze the balls off of the proverbial Brass Monkey"!

More snow coming over the weekend, deep freeze will continue, not as deep as Abercrombie FJR though.

Going to keep readying Festar's VStrom for Alaska: The VStrom gets chain & sprockets, Mirror Extenders, Fork Brace, Center Stand then I'll wire in the FZ1, RD, GPS, Battery Charger/Jacket Pigtail etc.....

Should keep me busy till the yet to be named GSA returns from the dealer with a new rear driveshaft seal..

Wet weekend has the PNWet living up to the nickname. Couple nice days coming up though and I'll get in a ride or three!

<snip> Should keep me busy till the yet to be named GSA returns from the dealer with a new rear driveshaft seal..
Getting the full BMW ownership experience eh, John?
