It's only supposed to get up into the 60s today.

Time for that winter jacket!

I hate this fucking thread for 6 months of the year. 1st snow of the year yesterday and all I can think about is loading up the trailer with four bikes and three friends to head South for some riding. Anybody have any ideas for decent winter riding that is closer than Texas Hill Country? I'll be spending some of the week winterizing 19 motorcycles. 15 for the school and 4 of my own.

I hear that there will be some awesome sledding in Minnesota soon....

Hope that helps.

Wow. 2 Redheads sharing a trailer, I wonder how that will turn out?

Hey, I thought you were vacationing in Oklahoma these days? Plenty warm down there I bet...

Abercrombie, come to Albuquerque. We'll head south and go ride around Silver City. Nice and toasty.
+1, Gunny; Abercrombie and 'Zilla, put together something in Silver City and I'll organize the Zonie's to come over and ride with you Mooks in New Mexico! JSNS!

Mid 60's today and, as Joe said, it's gonna get cold soon. But I was able to get the FJR out for aboot 90 miles today, including a stop by the Iron Pony. I was curious if they had any '15 FJRs yet - the don't, but they have two used '08's and one used '11.

Been cold, 30's, got my sled running this morning, she's almost ready, needs new slides, carbs sync'd and oil changed, but I did ride my bike to work. Just hoping the snow will hold off for a while longer so I can get in some more cold weather riding.

Do the roads through the hills we rode on North of Silver City stay ice free in the winter? I could handle some more of that area if I could get some buddies to split the gas pulling a trailer.
